Agree with the LOTR/Spurs comparison
Keko's posts got me about to come in real open minded when I watch Lone Survivor
Anyway, I'm about to watch Salvador. James Woods

This last viewing I realized that Ethan Hawke was in the movie as one of the elder Van Doren's students.
Yeah, I noticed him right away asking about Don Quixote
When actors get there start in small bit roles like that I want to be crazy insulting guy to be like "You were amazing in Quiz Show Ethan!" when I meet them
And you're right, this movie was a real good watch. I kinda wish it was fiction though cuz I feel it'd make it that much better. It being based off real events for some reason with this story was surreal for me. Felt like I watched the early birth of reality shows. Hank Azira's character (umm Friedman?) and Enright take the fall, claim they're not real criminals it's just entertainment. It's basically like they were saying I guess we should've had a disclaimer for the show that it's all scripted like what we see today with some crap programming. The corporations don't take a real hit at all. Enright returns later to become a millionaire off another show while Van Duren never teaches again and Goodwin is left holding that L cuz he thought he really was gonna change something and take down the frauds running tv. There's an integrity there that died with those hearings. America.
