Man I just happen to come across the 1935 version of The Bounty, Mutiny on the Bounty
Should've been called Torture on the Bounty
This dude Bligh flogged a dude to death and then flogged his dead body after before they even set sail, son was hanging dudes on the ropes in the hot sun, made one of his own officers tie himself to the top of the mast in a rainstorm, constant flogging, make a mistake about cheese he took and flogged a dude for saying he lied, it just goes on and on and on
This movie made a great case for mutiny and it aint even done yet. They aint even make it to Tahiti yet. The Bounty was nowhere near as bad as this when it comes to the treatment of the crew. They had basically already turned on dude before they got anywhere. They were straight up sailing all around the Atlantic wasting time just so he could torture dudes for like a year. I see stuff like this and realize how slavery was so possible.
Mind you this is the face of the captain:
A face only a mother can love, this dude Charles Laughton.
Don't think the 60s Brando version of this movie can be any worse than what I'm seeing now
