Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

A lot of that list is just you naming movies, though

3 Ninjas? How High? Both Friday sequels?

Wedding Crashers is hilarious, though. I can throw it on and watch it countless times and still enjoy it. I actually just re-watched it a week ago.

Woah...all three Fridays were hilarious. From Daday 'why ain't y'all do nothing when the fat chick jumped on me?' 'Look at my ruff...look...at...my ruff' to Money Mike 'You ever seen a pit bull jump on a poodle?' Haha I watch that like once a month.

And 3 Ninjas? Seriously? The surfer dude? Rocky, Cole and Tum Tum? 'Ricky loves Emily' my man Cole, white room, white spray paint. Had old dudes in there looking foolish.

How High?

Yo old, born in 95 got my first pair of Js after retirement, Patrick Ewing neck having!

 I'm not saying they're not funny, but I assumed that was a list of movies all funnier than Wedding Crashers.

I don't think I've seen the 3rd Friday in forever.

Had I known Minka was on Almost Human, I woulda made it a point to catch an ep. :smh: And yeah, she can't act for shot, but still.

...

The Revenant: Based on the book by Michael Punke, the story follows Hugh Glass, a 19th century fur trapper who is mauled by a grizzly bear, left for dead and then robbed. When he survives against all odds, he sets out on a treacherous journey to exact revenge on his betrayers.

Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Biutiful)

Starring Leo DiCaprio and (potentially) Tom Hardy.

:nerd: Expectations. :smokin

This sounds dope

mronegative mronegative

I just finished The Americans Season 2...

:wow:

FX may have the best lineups and history of shows possibly ever.

Justified may be the one weak link now but I love that show too

And as funny as Wedding Crashers is, it's not Top 3 comedy

Son, I just looked at my TV and said... No. Noooooooo. NOOOOOOO. :wow:

Gotta watch the whole season again. It just unfolds like a novel, like The Wire did. :smokin

And yeah...I'm bout a season and a half behind on Justified. It was so good, then one day...just piling up on the DVR. :smh:

Fargo good? Kinda got turned off by the show existing...at all.

Wedding Crashers is up there with The Godfather II, The Empire Strikes Back, The Dark Knight, and Shawshank Redemption. Maybe not top 3, but in this top 5 somewhere.

"John let's go, we got a stage 5 clinger, I'm gonna go start the car..."

I just came back from seeing Jon Favreau's CHEF.

It's my favorite film of the year thus far. Soooooo good.

Hilarious, fun, heartfelt and the food...amazing. Can't recommend it enough, if it's playing by you check it out

Awesome. Thanks, Venom. Will be checking out Chef for sure

Season 3, episode 3 of Breaking Bad... I really hope no one out there felt good for Skyler, at least at this point. She is not a down chick, she's slight narc, she isn't very nice and most of all she is nosey as all outdoors. I would hate to marry a chick like that, my man Walt should have stayed with the chemist chick, at least she seemed down.

Like, my man got cancer and a son with MS, and he still hit the block for you, so you don't have to worry about life when he's gone. "Ms. Integrity" going to go out and get ran through by her boss, where that integrity at now? All high and mighty when he's doing dirt, but when you do dirt, no words, then justify it by saying" Well he was doing wrong too" but when he was doing "wrong," he was doing "wrong" for you and the fam, so ya'll can eat long after he's gone. Man...this chick...she bout to be on Jenny level with me...Ann Gunn...yeah you Robin Wright to me now you dumb ********** ***** **** *****! Ohhh I hate seeing dudes who trying to do right get done dirty...irks me...

I need a break...time to start The Wire.

Just finished 12 years a slave.. While a powerful movie, with a lot of powerful imaginary and scenes.. I'm not sure Steve McQueen was the right choice to direct the movie

I love shame.. But I don't think the movie was as good as it should have been.. I don't want Spielbergish, to gloss things up and make them more movie friendly

But I think there was a better movie to be made

So, Josh Brolin = Thanos.

I swear, he LOOKS like Thanos.

It's too bad Thanos will be all CGI, from what I'm hearing. Brolin could look great in make-up.

So I've been watching Modern Family lately, I like it. Phil is funny. and Gloria is hilarious too.

Man, I wish The Lincoln Lawyer was a tv series :smh: :pimp: I only watched half of it just now in a long time and I could watch MM be this gray area lawyer over and over.

Watched we're the millers today, it was funny as hell to me
Surprisingly funny to me as well.

So... I've never watched The Matrix trilogy in it's entirety, and never watched Fight Club.

I know that's a crime, but what should I watch first tonight?

Someone also recommended Sucker Punch to me but I think Ima put that off for now
