Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

i'm watching Rob the Mob right now, the trailer looked pretty good, though a bit more slap sticky than i'd like for this type of story

Son I could watch Pitt rob mobsters everyday and it'd never stop being funny

Rob The Mob was a great movie.

Oh yeah, Andy Garcia was seamlessly excellent in this.

Couple things - there's a Clint Eastwood marathon on Encore right now. Unforgiven just ended; Fist Full of Dollars up next.

Also, Big Mama's House 2 was on earlier. Don't know why I think it's hilarious that Chloe Moretz and Kat Dennings are both in it. Plus, I love me some Nia Long. Always enjoy seeing her, regardless of what in .

Is it just me or a reach?

Yeah I guess, I'm just watching her on the show and she just keeps reminding me of Rachel from Suits. I dunno maybe y'all got see them both in motion.

Watching I, Frankenstein. Terrible. Poorly written....just bad...but I like these movies about monsters.

Edit: just turned it off. If you've seen the entire movie, I respect your resolve.

So I just caught a clip on TMZ talking to Josh Hartnett. So tell me how this dude said 10 years ago he said he turned down roles for like Superman, Batman and Spider-Man claiming he didn't want to get stuck in a role and then be known as that one thing (lets ignore that plenty other great actors manage not to let that happen).

I just find it funny cuz when we were talking about EOT and Tom Cruise movies a pg or two ago. I was just thinking any bad Tom Cruise movie you could think of that he shouldn't have done he should've just left that for guys like Josh Hartnett  Cuz he's not bad but to me he's a middle of the pack actor even though apparently he was a rising star 10 years ago. I mean son was in Bunraku and 30 Days of Night but didn't want to be known as Supes, Bats, or Spidey? He couldn't have made Returns any better and arguably would've made the Nolan trilogy worse but **** aint no way I'm turning down Spider-Man, regardless of what Raimi did to SM3. I mean he possibly had the chance of being 2 of the 3 if he timed it right. I dunno to me he's been in more good movies than he's had great performances. His best stuff is what? Pearl Harbor but to me at the top is his role in 40 Days and 40 Nights  While he just happened to be in good movies like Black Dhalia, Slevin, Sin City, etc.

Aint trying to focus on him but I just found that a little eye opening once he revealed it. Cuz I thought he was good but not so good he's worrying about being pigeonholed as one thing or fearing a typecast career. Of course dude ends it saying he'd be open to superhero flicks now. I bet given how he's trying to be on the rise again.

Man season 3 of Veep has been outstanding.

The Debate episode was the highlight for me so far. So many quotables and lulz in one episode.

This dude Jonah has been racking up continuous Ls at a HOF level.

Looking forward to the season finale.

Everytime I see Megan Markle my heart beats a little faster.
Watched the first season cuz I saw her in the commercial.

He's stupid for not riding that buzz.
Yeah...feels like he tried to make that jump to more respected actor, but he never had those chops so...
He was Channing Tatum before Channing Tatum, but without a sense of humor.

...

This should be mandatory.

Yo...I LOVE Veep. Love Veep. Show made the leap this season. It's just so locked in. There's so many cable comedies that don't quite hit what they're trying to hit for me. Silicon...House of Lies...Eastbound went up and down. Wouldn't really call Girls and Shameless comedies. Orange either.

Veep's the best cable comedy since Californication fell off imo.

Son, the twitch. The baseball coach.  Just stop saying holes.
