Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

My in-law saw an advanced screening of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes & loved it. Said it was 10 times better than the first one. :smokin

damn. if so, my body is ready. wished they had franco in it. does anyone know how many years have passed between rise and dawn?

Saw it too last night, man was it ******* deep. A lot of the unexpected takes place through out the movie and you kinda find yourself choosing sides a lot. So many key events that change everything.

mentioned this elsewhere but an nt'er from team am fam did cgi work on dawn of the planet of the apes #therealamfam :nthat:

thanks to whoever recommended utopia! i'm on episode 4. the quirks and violence really make it like a UK flavored fargo.

don't miss out on this one

Pass. As a Jew, I cannot in good conscience go to a film in which one of the most famous Jews ever is played by a non-Jew. :smh: ...

Not serious -- about refusing to see the movie, anyway. (Plus, Bale could be Jewish for all I know).

And Africans played by non-africans.

I heard from someone who screened Interstellar: "This is Christopher Nolan's best film to date."

as if we weren't excited enough already

Eh, still coming in with low expectations for Nolan this time around.

This right here might be the tipping point for him.

Watched a pretty good movie last night called MOON..It stars Sam Rockwell and it's really good film..He's on a space station by himself..I can't explain that much without giving stuff away, but if you have the time and want to watch something a little odd then I recommend giving it a shot..

Really good film. Never really checked for Sam Rockwell but that was def a movie that sealed him as someone to check for imo.

Just finished Running Scared with Paul Walker. I randomly heard about it from a max landis vid i saw on youtube and Mr.O recommended it as well. Was a really fun movie.

^^^Speaking of Mr. O, is he on summer vacation or something? Feel like I haven't seen a post from him in a while.

Rockwell is so underrated, he's always good in whatever films he's in.

I wish Paul Walker would have taken on more roles like this.

Anybody seen this Rectify series?

Edit: I went ahead and started it. Dope

I admire his chill (so far anyway, he's liable to snap at some point) after what he's been through. So many people, maybe myself included, would use this as the "victim card" and never think twice about moving passed such a mucked up dealing.
