Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Let's Be Cops looks like what would have happened if they made a whole movie about Seth Rogen and Bill Hader's cop characters from Superbad, which is awesome.

Yep, I'm really looking forward to it.

Saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes the other night. Outstanding... absolutely loved it.

Watched some of the first one later, and the CGI in Dawn was leaps and bounds better... and it wasn't even bad in the first one, but it was really impressive this time. At first I was skeptical of another "human who Caesar bonds with" because it just seemed like a repeat of Franco's character, but Jason Clarke did a great job and they really brought it all together. Great sequel, even better sci-fi movie... I'm thrilled with the way this franchise has been handled.

I had no idea The Killing was still going on, I'm still mad I wasted all that time watching the first season.

Only good thing to come from watching that crappy show was discovering Kinnaman.

He was the new RoboCop, I never saw it, but hopefully he gets some better roles in the future. He plays Liam Neeson's son in another Liam Neeson action film next year :smokin

I liked the Killing.
It felt real.
That Dreary depressing setting in a wet and cold town was a basic 101 backdrop of good scene after good scene.
Felt like it was too real.

My god I forgot how horrible the acting was in the Star Wars prequels, :x

I'll definitely see VII in theaters, tho.

Can't wait for Nightcrawler and I have high hopes for the Mad Max remake.

Tom Hardy :pimp:

hayden christiansen was so bad in those movies. When he spoke his lines he used a weird tone and it didn't sound right.

My biggest complaint is the male lead doesn't interest me. He doesn't look like someone who commands interest or needs to be seen. Dakota is awesome, I've loved her in the past, but he doesn't feel like a strong lead.

Yea I remember everyone reading Fifty Shades at work. Then I found out it was essentially twilight fan fiction with some names changed around I was like you all serious right now :smh:

Women criticize men for watching porn but think it's acceptable for them to wet their underwear reading that fake bdsm romance novel stuff. You want some kink then go look at real kink.

Made me think of when two female cowokers finally got around to seeing Don Jon. One got it completely and the other it was like the movie flew by a mile over her head lol
