You tellin me what’s what is funny, given as how you don’t watch the show anymore.
Steph Curry ain’t all that, I watched his rookie year, I know enough…….
That’s what you doin right here man. You complaining about characters and such, but don’t even know what they doin right now. So why you talkin? Are you next going to tell me what is or isn’t good about Fast and Furious movies, films you haven’t seen? Should I tell you what I hate about the show Mad Men, even tho I haven’t watched 11 seconds of it? I think Passion of the Christ is a terrible movie, I never watched a moment of it, but I know how the story ends, so it sucks. That’s how it works now, right? I could have saved 8 hours of my life last year not watching True Detective, cuz I already knew it was great, so why even watch it?
Notice how you left out Noah, Jesse, Alexandria, wolves, etc? Why you think that is?
I mean, surely you can explain to me why those things don’t matter, right? Why those stories suck, or are repetitive, etc. Maybe you could tell me about Deanna, or Aiden? Or Morgan, how’s Morgan doin these days? How lame and boring is his storyline now? What’s Sasha goin thru? Last you saw her, she had Tyrese still with her right, so she’s doin about the same now prolly, right?
And let go of the race stuff. Come on. That is such a cop out. Yes, I know everyone laughs at it, and says it’s there, and oh this happened, and that happened, but that got deaded fairly quick when someone pointed out how everyone hated TDog, he got others killed, made mistakes, people hated his character, wanted him dead, then they kill him, and everyone gets pissed about it.
I know, everything is race. And nothing is race. Sometimes, everybody gets screwed. People only pick and choose how they want to see that.
Carl is also still a damn kid. But his time is coming. Oh but wait, you wouldn’t know that yet. You think he still just chillin with Judith I bet.
Who are the Walking Dead, anyways? Is it the walkers, or is it Rick’s group? You talk about how dire their situation is, funny, they do too. One even begged to eat a machine gun last night. Another took a nap in a grave full of dead walkers. Layed out, all on top of the bodies. Not really showin how bad their situation is tho?
Welcome to Alexandria.
And pre Gus, pre Saul, Breaking Bad was just as slow, methodical, and pointless. 2 idiots cooking in a camper every episode. Lies stackin up, Jesse yellin yeah ***** all the time, but in the end, it worked out. They found their lane, and made the play. They got where they needed to be. Hopefully someone around here gave up on season 2 and can tell you how lame that show is, and what a waste of time it became for them, and they will be certain they are right. Cuz they saw 12-14 episodes or whatever.
Fair point on ratings. I’ll hear that. But it’s very similar to someone being upset the story doesn’t go the way THEY think it should. I remember being pissed about Sopranos and how they handled a certain storyline. Iiiiiiiiii wanted it this way, but it went the other. (yes, I used a Wire reference to explain something on the Sopranos. I’m gifted that way) Big J is the one that talked me down, and explained why it went the way it did, and I needed to get in on that.
For example, you saying stunted growth of Karl. He's a kid. I mean.....
Of course his growth is stunted. And if you go with the cliche, well in the books......we ain't talkin about the books, we doin the show, not the books. Daryl alone shows there is no books in here. So whatever, however Karl is in the books, don't matter. They progress him, how they progress him. But in the end, he's a kid, in a world full of adults doin crazy **** when they should be tryin to rebuild, or re-unite, they simply became Walking Dead caveman edition.
When he goes off and finds another group, brainwashes them and convince them to attack the prison? That is great?
Yes, when he shows up on the front lawn with a tank and beheads one of the main characters, and causes complete and utter chaos in their "peaceful" little existence, yes, that is great. Rick v Governor was a great showdown the year before, it ran it's course, no doubt, but that doesn't mean one round and out. Governor came back for more. I agree, they rushed the pace a bit brainwashing them in 1-2 episodes, but that left them a character who didn't realize they were brainwashed, and set the show on a new path where each character gets an episode or two with a different character. Instead of the entire group, they broke it up, like you alluded to, Daryl and Beth. Tyrese and Carroll. (which had greater implications later) Michone and Rick. The path to Terminus, etc.
Everything led them to Alexandria which you, LTB, and Ska are all gonna tell me sucks anyway, even tho you all haven't seen it. (Ska might have, but he hates zombies as a general rule, so he doesn't count , it's like askin him if he likes watchin Celtics basketball all season long.
