Whose brilliant idea was it to have incest be one of the focal points of the Godfather III? Why did everyone act so nonchalant about the situation?

For all the hate on godfather 3 it's cuz 1 n 2 was so Great... It was for closure.. They didn't do so bad..

It wasnt tasteful..but was terrible.. Imo

Ahh, Mr. & Mr. Smith. That time right before Angelina Jolie became completely anorexic and unattractive. Still got some plumpness and fullness to her face and figure.

Brad had at least something to grab on to.

I remember the time when she got really skinny, I posted on a forum that she was basically skin and bones. A female got mad and told me she I was wrong and she had curves. Guess she liked the emaciated look with big boobs.

would love to see tarantino do a vega brothers movie..

or what jules is up to post "retirement"

Sat down and watched Chef this weekend, and tell ya what, the high praise was very much deserved.

I did not expect to enjoy this film at all. Not particularly interest in cooking, or Chef’s and their fancy foods and such, food critics, etc. Didn’t think any of it would register with me. Clearly, I didn’t realize what would go down in those 2 hours tho.

I liked damn near every character. Favreau, Sofia Vergara, the boy, John Luigizamo (sp), RDJ, Scarlett, Platt, even Dustin Hoffman, all made me like the roles they played.

None of them had very large roles, it was very much a “favor” type appearance for most of them, but they all added that little something to their scenes. In the end, you felt good watching the film and enjoying the ride with them. Even the Twitter angle was interesting the way they used it to carry some of the film.

Being a pessimist, I kept waiting for Vergara to turn up dirty, or Luigizamo (sp) to burn him, or something, but nope. They stayed in the lane they portrayed the whole time. And I loved that. It surprised me more, than if they actually did do somethin sideways. (BTW, my God Sofia, Jesus, :smh: )

I don’t know if it’s a film that I would watch thru over and over, hell I may never watch it again, but I enjoyed the two hours I spent watching it. I enjoyed their friendship, his relationship with his friend, his relationship with Sofia, even his relationship with RDJ, and then the way it all goes down with Platt. Very well done, easy tone, never bogged down, just a good quality film with one of the lowest budgets ever I would imagine.

6.5/8 stars.

Return to Paradise had a horrible ending.

Why did someone not kill Jada Pinkett's character before it ended?

Just :x :smh: :rolleyes

Angelina has never looked better than she did in Hackers, first movie I ever saw here in.

Them ******* in Hackers though....man hold up!

Looked a bit too young for me in that. The way she looks there reminds me of how JLo use to be chubby and not look as toned as she does now.

I'll see high school pics of Jolie posted on tumblr and think good lord. She was probably a big weirdo back then but probably had everyone wondering about weird box.

Chef is easily my favorite film of the year. Saw it at a theater once and about a half dozen times at home. It's just a great feel good movie. Timing is just good for me because being new to Houston, you can't help but try the local cuisine. So currently I'm caught in "foodie" mode. And on a side note, Franklin's BBQ never looked as empty as it did in that movie.

Also saw TMNT. It's one of those cartoons I loved as a kid, but if asked me to describe an episode I'd have no idea where to start. So when it comes to taking liberties with the origin, I really have no issue with it.

The movie started off slow, but the pacing afterwards was really good. I usually don't like long action sequences that lead to the third act (see: Man of Steel, Transformers 3) but in this film it worked. Megan Fox was actually decent in this, and I liked her as much as Judith Hoag in the original 90's film. Action scenes were solid, but I'm still not a huge fan of the "look" of the turtles. Splinter's actions scenes were very well done, but again, really didn't like his look.

Biggest gripe about the film is how they tried to really tie in the origin to all the characters in the film. IMO, it wasn't necessary, and it was just too "convenient".

In short, kids are gonna love it, and even the most skeptic 80's babies will have a good time. At an hour and forty munutes, it's just the aright running time. Can't believe I'm saying this, but looking forward to a sequel. Bring on Casey Jones and Krang!

Will start watching tonight if I get a recommendation...

Boardwalk Empire returns for its final season, Sept. 7.

19 days away.

Is it worth trying to catch up for those final episodes? Consider the time commitment.

Yes.

I doesn't have the notoriety or accolades of The Sopranos but it is a very good show.

Richard Harrow is one of my most favorite tv characters ever. I like darmondy too but like the character less now since people posted about how michael pitt was a douche on set.
