Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

watched the rover. not the best movie in the world but it had a few good qualities. robert pattinson was actually pretty good in his role with the weird physical nuances (facial tics etc). guy pearce looks so much older than in memento. caught me off guard and broke out in a smile when keri hilson dropped in the soundtrack. thought a pop-up ad was playing in the background or something  that scene was pretty damn good.

My wife and son are watching Weekend at Bernies on TV. I can't believe that even made it to the big screen, let alone got a sequel made. :smh:

loved that opening scene when he's sitting in the bar and the truck just rumbles across in the background. Edward Cullen was great, he really sold his part.

kinda embarrassing but i didn't even know that was him (i refused to watch the twilight movies). had the movie paused and a female co-worker says OMG is that robert pattinson?!!! i said nope and looked it up on imdb and got shocked.

Weekend at Bernie's is dope though. Nostalgia. I liked that dude though, Andrew Macartney or whatever.

Mannequin?

Tyrant- I was feeling bad for Jamal because of how good he was to a brother that was trying to overthrow him.
I'm glad for what happened in tonight's season finale, completely threw me for a loop.
I think I'm liking this even more than the Americans. Dope *** show man

The Americans >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tyrant by a loooooooooooooooooooong distance IMO. Season 1 and 2 are two of the best back to back seasons FX has ever put out.

I really liked season 1 of The Americans, but I just fell behind immediately when season 2 started. I'll catch up soon.

Same here. I just couldn't do the week to week.

I have like 8 episodes on my DVR, I will at some point sit down and plow thru them, and see where I stand for season 3.

Tyrant is interesting and all. Very good premise, very good concept to place in that situation but it was shaky along the way. While the twist in the end was cool it didn't hit as hard as it could've and that's cuz the build up wasn't great. It was only until the end end of the show I realized this was the season finale. What went on the first 30 min had me thinking another ep was coming next week.

Keri and Rhy are just straight up AMAZING on The Americans. The acting, the emotional beats they always land on. The disguises my boy Rhys puts on. Like that on it's own should just be a thing with ppl having a little joke with his seamless disguises. Son was looking like Rust Cohle in one ep  Then the drama with their marriage and family. As usual the only thing I dislike is the children. These writers across the board really need to figure out what they're doing when they want give these preteens and teens minor roles and small story lines.

The Americans got it on FX right now (with The Bridge not far behind) and is pretty much top 5 on all tv/cable (within reason for shows that have already ended).

Sons Of Anarchy fell off hard. Should've ended a long time ago. Need to put Justify, The Shield, and The Bridge on my watch list.

Never heard of or seen an ep of Terriers. Missed out on that.

Now that it's ending I'll probably get back to SOA even though I know it falls off. Might check out Justified again too.

I have a soft spot for SOA  but the only really down seasons are 3 & 4...5 and 6 picked it back up well and I'm more than ready for 7.

Justified is my **** though. The Shield is a GOAT.

The 2008 Rambo flick..... terrible dialogue aside (not that the Expendables is much better), really set the table for Stallone to make the Expendable flicks

I forgot how much I enjoyed Rambo.

sons of anarchy coming back :pimp: final season, though :frown:

the last few seasons have definitely picked up the slack they lost in the middle of the series.
