Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Master Zik Master Zik Denzel was/is the easy choice to replace in the 2013 Oscar nom's, Never saw Jackmans performance in Les Miserables but strictly speaking Denzel, he plays the same role, same attitude, same cool in all of his movies. If I've seen 2 or 3 of Denzel's movies I've seen Denzel at his best, straight up. Jackman isn't very far behind on the typecast roles. He is what he is too.

They aren't making roles different like Gylenhall or Phoenix or Franco, he/they can't play a part that is outside of cool. If that makes sense.

Oh yeah what the **** was Killer Joe? :x C'mon Matthew. Good thing I didn't see that stinker back in 2011
I went into Killer Joe without knowing anything about the premise, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a great movie by any means, but I thought it was a solid film with very good performances.

Finally saw man of steel. Pretty good. I think they handled the "he's an alien" theme well. Michael Shannon was perfect. I liked what they did with zod a lot. Crowe did a good job too. A super amount of cgi but it's a Snyder movie and it was done well so I'm good. It was interesting to see krypton. Was not expecting that

I see a lot of the more hardcore superman fans had a lot of issues. like how Crowe could fight so well when he was a scientist and superman not trying to lead zod away from the civilian population. (would have loved to see him try and then zod call him out to off on some citizens)

I think its clear "Jenny" was supposed to be jimmy Olsen lol

I hated superman returns. I enjoyed this. There were some corny lines and I didn't like the suit meaning hope coincidence. The very last shot was ridiculous but that's always been in superman so I guess I can't be mad.

I did some reading on the Kevin smith script and the whole ordeal with Tim burton and Nic cage and all the crazy **** John peters wanted smith to do. It's amazing that superman returns was almost 20 times worse.

I'm not a huge fan of the boy scout and Snyder has his faults... But this was a good movie.

Also watched the Darjeeling Limited for the first time in years and liked it much more. still the "worst" Wes anderson movie but I love his movies so it's whatever.

I loved how Snyder snuck a polar bear in there.

Just watched Chef. Such a great feel good movie, definitely one of my favorites of the year. This is my first time from memory seeing Favreau outside of Iron Man, and he performed incredibly as the lead. Movie was pretty funny too.

Note: Don't watch if hungry lol.

Go watch swingers

Flight is awesome. Goodman's character is legendary. The scene with the smoking cancer patient is classic.
It's a much better watch than Lincoln, or Hawkes' version of My Left Foot.
I'll never watch any of those movies ever again. Can't say that about Flight.

Maybe Hawkes in Sessions is more of an "academy role" than Zel in Flight but honestly who gives a **** most of those academy movies are a bore.
But I could watch Silver Linings til the end of time. Seen it ten+ times

Here's a pic of "Glee" star Dianna Agron as a former CIA operative in 'Headlock': http://imdb.to/1uGwGMO

After new CIA recruit, Kelley Chandler (Polish) is seriously injured during a mission, surviving only on life support, his wife Tess (Agron), a former CIA operative, becomes determined to find out what happened to her husband. As the details of Kelley's last mission unravel, showing that his accident was an inside job, Tess puts everything on the line to keep Kelley out of harm's way, even if that comes with dangerous consequences.

Sounds interesting.

Cosign Jack Reacher ending being less than dookie. Diarrhea
yup
If it's less than dookie how can it be diarrhea?

Master Zik Master Zik Dookie is solid poop. Diarrhea isn't: Would You rather poop solid or poop Diarrhea?

So Diarrehea is worse then right? Hence, less than Dookie.

 I really just broke down bowel movements, geez these pain meds from the dental office got a dude off right now

I still kind of hope Agron has a nice little career. She's not some hidden gem with huge talent that's going overlooked, but she could be a serviceable actress and I always liked her.

Always considered diarrhea worse but I would say it's more than dookie not less. Cuz usually if something is bad and you want to bring up something worse the implication and definition is that it is even more bad than just bad.

Solidness did not enter my mind.

Anybody been watching the Outlander series on Starz: Pretty highly rated on IMDB, a out to give it a go.

Saw this on SlashFilm's site & thought I'd share. A super cut of Pixar's color scripts in various movies.

Always found Agron really attractive, she would be a nice option.

I don't watch glee so i've only seen her in that I Am Number Four. Hope she's in a lot more stuff.

So the skinner British version of Andy Richter, James Corden, will be the new Late Late Show host after Craig Ferguson leaves at the end of the year.

A true end of an era :smh: Hopefully I see Craig in something else soon. Kinda doubt he'd go back to a tv series but he's hosting that game show so maybe. Would like to see him in movies but eh.

I'd wish CBS would package ever Craig show in to a few box sets.

Picking up the Captain America 2 Blu in a few minutes. :pimp:

Saw Edge of Tomorrow over the weekend, liked it. Groundhog Day with machine guns, but well worth it.

Also finished up Season 2 of The Americans. Yeah, I can't do that show weekly, I have to plow thru their seasons. Like the story, like what they are doing, love the performances, but it is too nuanced to absorb by the week. Slow burn doesn't do it justice. Knocking out 6-7 episodes in a long weekend was soooooo much better.
