After watching Anchorman 2 and only getting a few chuckles, noticing that Will Ferrell wrote this with someone else I'm convinced he purposely made it bad. Like the way the movie went out of it's way with the over the top wild **** just makes me think he didn't want to do a sequel but the studio wanted to so he decided to take their money and kill the franchise :lol:

The shark thing, those scenes with Brick, the minotaur, Ford turning in to a were-Hyena, I know he doesn't ever really touch black ppl humor but that scene with the family was struggle with like one laugh in there, the mind powers, car crash, Megan Goode's awkwardness at times, etc. Hell the cameos were cool at first but even after a while it just became a gimmick :smh:

But yeah I'm pretty sure Will was purposely jumping the shark with this to take yall money :lol:

The Dictator was weak as ****.

Bad Grandpa shouldn't have tried to have a story in it. I just prefer those Jackass guys doing them, give me a weird name of a stunt and then do it. I liked Knoxville as an old man and the kid but the story was lame and took away from what could've been a good comedy. Funniest part was when dude went in to the strip club :lol:

Blue Like Jazz wasn't that good. Tried their best to give a fair and balanced view of both sides and I'd say it was good up to some points they didn't go in to detail or elaborate on one side in order to fit their happy ending/moral of the story/religious conclusion.

Arbitrage was good. A story like that I wish was a tv show though. Gere did his thing. Ugly side chick imo. Should've been Gemma

Bout to watch Nebraska, Flight, and All Is Lost.

I added Cap 2, and ASM2 the past couple weeks, with Godzilla next week, Arrow season 2, and Days of Future Past next month. :pimp:

Man if I didn't throw away all my DVD cases and put the discs in a cd case I'd send you my collection. I'll never use them ever again.

Like 1-200 movies in there for sure

Tropic Thunder was so F'n funny.
One of my favorite lines from the whole movie is from RDJ as Kirk Lazarus as Lincoln Osiris

Jack Black isn't even that bad but he brought his poorest game to that movie and what they wrote for his character was trash. I mean fart jokes were the highlight of his scenes :smh: :rolleyes Kept the movie from being a timeless classic.

Everything else about it was pure greatness though.
 
i have my movies set up by genre. then i have a huge cd wallet that i also have by genre but for movies that are good but not great enough to be on the shelves.
 
I watch all Movies on losmovies or movie25 now so I haven't pulled out the DVD discs in over 2 years
 
Caught Captain America 2 this weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have liked more Winter Soldier, but that's a minor criticism. I liked GoTG better, but Cap 2 might be my second favorite Marvel film to date.
 
going to see The Drop tomorrow. Been following it for years in production, back when it was called Animal Rescue - and Gandolfini was very much alive. Sad, but I can't wait
 
Flight was cool.

All is Lost :lol: :smh: ALL WAS DEFINITELY LOST. Great but messed up. Really loved the silence of it. The score as well was great and came in at the right necessary moments.

I can get a bit more how Louie hated how he was doing everything wrong as a person who sails :lol:
 
Ray Donovan had some serious drama tonight.

Abbey must have that Popo sprung if he's willing to off Cookie all because she said "be a man".
That reporter bird is Sexy AF though, damn.
