The movie seems to be bad on purpose :lol: Watching it now and I'm loving it.

Can't recall the titles but it reminds me of a few other movies that went this route.
 
Yeah it was supposed to take cringeworthy to the extreme. I liked it, but they could've emphasized the satirical parts a little more.

It's written by the same guy who did Wet Hot American Summer.

I liked They Came Together. Took me a few minutes to figure out what the movie was doing, but once I got it, I enjoyed it

The new season of Downton started already right? America won't start airing episodes for a few more months I think.
 
Whose accent was worse? Brad Pitt's Jamaican accent or Matt Damon orLeonardo DiCaprio's South African accents? :rolleyes :lol:

Tom Cruise's "Irish" accent in Far & Away is also notably terrible. But of the three PSK posted, my vote for the worst would have to go to Pitt. But maybe that's because the whole scene is just really awkward.

Did anyone else notice that HBO is bring back the Comeback with Lisa Kudrow? I remember that show being OK, but I find it fascinating that they're bring back a show that aired for one season previously like 9 years ago. Weird.

Out of all 3 Damon's is the worse though :lol: :smh: Just a horrid English accent. Plain rubbish.

I think Leo's accent is more in line with a white man with a South African accent than any of the others

Yea it's 3/4 eps in. I think it airs here around Xmas.
I watch it online ahead of US release though

In that case, his accent was not actually that bad. I have a few South African friends, and while I wouldn't say Damon's accent was spot on, it wasn't awful either. Morgan Freeman's was worse, TBH.
 
Damn I thought Damn was a British guy just living in South Africa for a long time :lol: So he was picking up the accent but it was still terrible cuz of his bad British accent.
