Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I gave up on the Dead right before the season 1 finale. Stuff was getting too cliche. Is that still the case?

How do you know that quote is from Dead then?

I don't know if it's cliche, it's a rough, brutal show to absorb tho. Lot of feels. Lot of "Rita" moments, imo. They've literally dropped my jaw a few times.

I've really enjoyed it as a marathon, no way I could handle the week to week tho. That would be too much. :smh:

I watched season 1 and stopped for like a year or two myself, but just picked it up again few weeks back, glad I did.

the googles  i'll probably get into it eventually. just didn't like how the old dude was suddenly playing that old wiseman role. stuff like that bothered me at the time. i'm just a picky douche when it comes to that stuff though.

Dale, I assume?

There's always going to be a role here or there that has a purpose like that, but it doesn't mean it stays that way, trust.

It's a pretty fun character study on how humanity works, that's for sure.

Under the Skin with Scarlett Johannson. Most WTF film I've seen in awhile. It's beautiful. Eerie.

I get goosebumps thinking about it.

Watched a little if we're the millers worst ******* movie I've seen in 5 years. Utter trash. I like Sudekis but this was pure garbage. If someone else had the lead it probably wouldn't have even been made. Anniston was looking aight though in that strip club.

We're the Millers was funny. Wasn't great but it was good.

Let's Be Cops was disappointing. Just finished it. I didn't laugh nearly as much as I expected.

The Longest Week was a weird movie. I enjoyed it though. Worth watching.

You spam b. Seen the movie twice, loved it. No ragrets.
Know what I'm saying?

I say Sudekis was funny. That movie was all on him. The script was **** the storyline is dumb, Sudekis carried the whole thing. Take him out and it's garbage.

I'm not a Sudekis fan. Thought Horrible Bosses was just ok. Same with Hall Pass. Basically, I've never watched a movie he starred in that I liked a lot.

Is swordfish the most pointless movie, with the highest payoff in movie history?

Uh, no. More like the movie I just watched.

Oldboy. The fastest transition from dumbest movie ever to most unnecessary movie ever.

Oldboy is another piece of **** they should have just left alone.

I can't stress enough how much I abhor remakes

I watched the remake expecting to hate it and actually liked it. Mainly because Lizzie Olsen is a goddess and her chest needs to be worshipped.

I laughed a bit at We're the Millers. WOuldn't say it was that funny though. I liked Horrible Bosses better.

This Is Where I Leave You is a real good movie. 5.8/8 I got some laughs but I could count them on my hand. Not a funny movie, way more drama with a comedic tone.

The Young Lions :pimp: Such a ******* classic. That movie was beautifully written. Brando, Martin, and Clift really did their thing. Nothing like an old movie :smokin 8/8
