Has this October -- assuming Nightcrawler is solid, reviews seem to indicate so -- exceeded past Octobers of memory in quality films in theaters?

Gone Girl, Birdman, John Wick, Fury, Nightcrawler. All very good. Feel like we normally get maybe 1-2 this month.

Just finish watching Obvious Child pretty damn good movie. Need to figure out if I am going to find another movie to watch or take a nap before class

TBH, not really a Jake Gyllenhall fan. Something about him has always annoyed me for some reason. But I still might see Nightcrawler because it looks good and I generally like movies that feature LA prominently. (I love my hometown).

You're crazy, Jake is GREAT. Have you seen Prisoners? his best work imo, I think Night crawler is gonna be amaazing.
I love LA too.

It's weird. I completely recognize that he's a good actor, but I just don't like him for some reason. (Maybe it's because I'm on record as saying I would **** his sister). I don't know.
 
no class this afternoon so i figured i would go see whiplash

He was terrific in Source Code.

Felt like he played the same "obsessive" character in both Zodiac and Prisoners. I know the characters they played had several different personality traits, but the "obsessive" part of it exuded in both, so I left Prisoners wondering about his range.
 
Hi guise. Long time no speak.

I am nervous about interstellar. Not one thing ive seen makes me think it's gonna be good. If it wasn't Nolan there's no way I would watch. Just doesn't look interesting.

Nightcrawler on the other hand... I have high hopes


Also I saw Thor finally. Everything that's NOT on earth was awesome.
