Just saw Nightcrawler. Thought it was pretty damn good. It had a few flaws but that movie had my attention the whole time. Ending was a little disappointing but its one of my favorites this year. Need to see it again.


Theater I was at just installed some recliners. Damn that was nice.
 
That script sounds like ****. It shouldn't center around 3 presentations, you're gonna miss out on too many of the intricate details that made Jobs who he was. Like the whole Lisa thing with his daughter and naming a computer after her but abandoning her. When he got fired. The crying to get his way. Calling everything ****. Going on walks to discuss business. What are they gonna do have 1 presentation from the 80s, another from the 90s and 1 for the iPhone? Just sounds hacky.

I honestly had no idea the first one did well enough to justify a sequel. I thought it was just OK.

I was only okay with it because I love me some Julianne Moore. I want to see her win everything.

Julianne in Assassins.

Julianne in Boogie Nights when she talked Dirk through his first sex scene. My GOD, instant life crush.
 
Damn, nobody liked the ending of Nightcrawler.

I thought it was Golden. It ended perfectly. You can't really sequel a movie like that but...I like endings that suggest it

That's one of the best parts of Prisoners as well...it just stops open ended almost.

Two really great endings if you ask me.

I thought the ending was great for portraying a society that rewards such ghastly and immoral behavior.

I had such high hopes for Now You See Me and it really disappointed. So I was shocked they are doing a sequel even though they left it open at the end

Right, you're the person on here who's a big magic fan, right? I could see how that movie would have let you down.

I think my biggest problem with the first one was Jesse Eisenberg. I found his character exceedingly annoying. I know he's always a little annoying to an extent -- that's kind of this thing -- but it was over the top to me in that one.
 
All the REAL IMAX theaters got the movie on Tuesday. Not sure how many real ones there are in the US. 40-50?


I didn't hate the ending of "Nightcrawler", I got it. Just disappointed. Wanted to see the story go either way but it wasn't a bad ending.

Screenings before the release date happen everywhere nowadays. I've seen several films before they release the last year or two.

Ok. Sucks for me living in the suburbs of ny then. Checked on moviefone for locations and there's a theater playing it at 8 near my old college. Only one showing and not imax though.

Thinking about going to the noon showing on Friday to get the Interstellar out the way and get back to studying. Hope to hear some good reviews from everyone.
