Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Agree on Mocking Jay...

Just finished 'Searching for Bobby Fischer' terrific movie. I'm mad at myself for not watching it earlier, but at the same time Im glad i caught the greatness.
The scene where Josh and Morpheus are playing speed chess :pimp:

Laurence is a great underrated actor. Especially in the 90's too bad he started getting fat around the Matrix days

Another great ep of Person of Interest :smokin

Dominic and the Brotherhood vs. Elias w/ John trying to protect him. The writing on this show is just too good given it's churning out so many eps per season. It's like every now and then they hit a peak quality level of storytelling that rivals the best shows on HBO, AMC, etc.

You mentioned a British Spy show similar to Homeland called The Game.  Where do I find it?

You said BBC America right? On Demand? Or is it currently in season?

I'm always amazed at how good and consistent the storytelling is. Everything's well plotted and planned. The most "network" thing about it is the standard good guys never kill rule.

I thought last season was convoluted with all the mythology and factions and codenames, but that's actually a good problem for a network show to have imo.

The season just started like 3 or 4 weeks ago (so you know since it's British the first season is probably almost over  ). It airs Wed nights @ 10 I think, on BBC America but you can also catch it on demand. BBCA has the eps available to watch.

Watching Pisoners with Huge Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Terrence Howard.

:wow: Huge was beating the breaks off dude lol

Prisoners is so good.

About to watch Source Code, heard great things.

Just saw Foxcatcher with Steve Carrell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo.
Well made movie. The performances by all 3 actors is astounding.
You can hardly recognize Carrell. Oscar worthy performance by his standards.

A grim film, but highly recommended.

prisoners was great up until the ending which killed the movie for me.

still need to see source code :nerd:
I felt one of the better parts of the movie, was the ending.
Intense film though.

i felt is was a let down. i was waiting for the weebay gif reaction and it didnt come. they did a great job building it up but the ending came up short. still pissed about it :smh:

Just watched untouchables...
Good seeing Costner be a "by the book" cop and then by the end having that edge.

Sean was awesome. He stole every scene he was in.

Great movie. DeNiro as Capone was also great. The baseball bat scene - chilling. Andy Garcia was sneaky good too in a smaller part.

Peanuts cartoons are an American holiday tradition no doubt, but as time has gone on I've realized I don't like them - or at least any parts not involving Snoopy. Charlie Brown is such a downer. I find it kind of depressing.

I wpersonally hated the untouchables despite the fact it has some great memorable scenes such as the bat, baby carriage, and elevator. Just really, really couldn't, get into it
