Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Entourage was good, but the premise wore thing, the writing kept getting worse, and I generally got tired of the group's antics. As a wish-fulfillment kind of show, it still was worth a watch towards the end, but it fell off hard.

I need to see this goddamn movie so bad

My dude Oscar Issac looking like a young Al Pacino in this :pimp:

The bae Jessica too

Anything with Chastain is a must watch for me.

And Issac has quickly become a favorite actor of mine.

Seinfeld... trash..

Fell off hard but I'm hoping the movie can recapture the early magic of the series

Huge Pitt fan here.

I tried, again, to watch The Counselor last night.

I honestly don't know how anyone can make it through that movie.

I got to the part where Fassbender was proposing this time, and called it quits there.

Venom any thoughts on Blackhat? It's got a 2015 rating for me for the concept/my fascination with hacking.

Michael Mann hasn't made a film worth seeing in forever. Hemsworth will never be able to shed the Thor stigma. This film looks cut and dry - being sold originally as a hacker film but now seems more like an action film. Not thanks.

It's Here - The First Trailer for the Entourage Movie has Arrived - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-3Wn

feel like no one is talking about this - it was a lot better looking than I expected.

Have any of you guys ever tried to write a movie? I'm sure is a big talk but I have had several ideas that I think be hot. I just need time and the right people for it.

It's on my bucket list to write a screen play. Just the idea of it terrifies me. Seems like such a daunting task.

I'll see the Entourage flick when it drops because I loved the show but that trailer looks awful.

I've liked all of Mann's films except Ali. Insider didn't connect with me either. I'll see Blackhat but most likely when it hits VOD or red box.

Merry Christmas everyone...

If you like B&J ice cream, this hits the fridges at grocery stores this time of year...

I had no problems getting through that movie. For most movies I don't have that problem.

It had a story, acting wasn't horrible across the board. I simply followed it through to the end. ****** up ending. After that I just judged overall how I felt about what I just watched and it's pretty forgettable and not good.

Half a dozen notches below Killing Them Softly and that was another movie I wanted to like more.

Movies like that make me wonder that if money wasn't the factor what about the script or the director made these actors want to be in these movies and how do they feel after they see the finished product? Do they like these movies or are they shocked it was that bad or do they only realize in hindsight how bad this movie was going to be while at the time they were so unaware?

Amazing Spider-Man 2 would have been a far better film if it ended with spidey going up against electro.. Then that scene with Harry becoming the green goblin being the very end scene before the credits.. Then you can show him in the whole getup after the credits

I mean obviously there were a ton of things they could have done better, but that would easily make the film way better

yeah they had a half decent movie in there if webb was allowed to do his own movie and finish it where he felt the story needed to be

seems like the story was written for electro to be the end, but then they realized they had a whole nother movie's worth of story to get through so that they could be ready for the s6 and asm3 movies so in literally the last 10 minutes its the green gob origin story, green gob realizing spiderman is peter, confronting peter, killing gwen, half a year passing of peter being sad, instantly getting over her death and becoming spiderman again.

thats like literally the plot of the first spiderman movie thrown into the last 10 minutes of this last one. just because the movie studio said they needed to be at point B by the end of the movie

if they really wanted to do that they should have just made it a green goblin story and not had electro at all
