Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Lone Survivor was emotional man, it just really showed you how real **** gets for the Marines, gives you a whole new respect for veterans.

Anybody who can even survive in that type of atmosphere has a level of mental toughness that most can't even fathom.
I think I'm the only one that thought the "lone survivor" was the ***** survivor.

After watching the movie at least the pictures I got was of him trying to run away and for himself rather than fighting for his team.

Sounding like the true sheltered individual you are.

Hunger Games trilogy has either a 2050 timeframe for me or if I meet a slamming chick and she wants to watch it timeframe.

is cool ... You saw the behavior of his fellow team mates? You saw the helicopters getting shoot down and the other teammates still wanting to go fight? Then you saw him OK go ... I'm not going ... Come in Son ...

Dude exchanged shots and never left is partners side.

He was just tryna survive.

I wanna watch the Hobbit and LOTR but I wanna read the books first. Every year whenever there's a blackout I read a little of LOTR but I still have a ton to get through. Great story but I'm always picking up books reading a quarter and putting them down to start something else.

I've heard very good things about the latest Hobbit movie. I'm going to see it in the theater, preferably in 2014

the first LOTR movies were pretty boring and way too long (except for the end battles)

so turning a single book into three movies just sounds way too boring for me to be interested

the book was pretty good though, we had to read it in middle school because our teacher was a huge fan

When I tell you there was non stop action in the Hobbit finale I mean it. Didn't even feel like 2 and a half hours. Way more fast paced than the other LOTR movies.

Hobbit movies are that bad? The book is well received.

Consider who you're talking to, bro.
Lmao word.

Anyone see the Gambler? Buddy of mine saw it. Said it was ok. Pretty sad though.

I wanna watch the og with James Caan. How do they compare? I like Jimmy man. Great actor. Sonny was a brilliant character. Broke my heart when they killed him in the Godfather.

LoL .. What movie are you watching ... He was the reason why they got into problems. When the Capt was going in a suicide mission he let him go .. No way another person would of have let him go ... When dude was asking for his boys he said they are dead or something .. He was still trying to go back and find them while him??? Naw dude was like f that I'm gone ... Obviously you leaving the shelter life ... That's real life when Soldiers Marines Seals etc know that they fight for each other ... I'm being real when I say .. When I was watching the movie I was getting mad just looking at dude make those decision.

Nothing really on the tele and no good shows to  watch ATM so, I will finish the last 30minutes of The Interview and I think I will give the Hobbit's a go again.

I was actually surprised by The Interview. Wasn't expecting much and it exceeded that.

I can watch LOTR Trilogy in one sitting .... I love that series ....
My neighborhood is good for one blackout a year so the first book has been my go to during that stretch. Really well written and paints a visceral story. I almost only wanna read it during blackouts at this point for tradition

Went to see Top Five on Christmas eve, it had its moments but I've been in love with Rosario Dawson forever so it may have clouded my judgement. Did laugh quite a bit.
