Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Watched Whiplash lastnight.. Was ok, but WAY overrated.  Just seemed like a series of implausible actions and situations. And the band instructor was literally chewing the scenery.. way overacted.

Cant see myself watching this one again.

stop embarrassing yourself

Just realized all these films start at either 4:30/4:35. There's one advantage to multiplexes.

I will keep my opinion on  The Slap out of this thread, until it actually releases.

I really think I want to start a separate thread for it.

It deserves it on thread.

Someone needs to let some of these bad, disrespectful, no manner having smart mouthed *** teens on here know, what should have happened to them as a little tyke.

Good on ABC

Written and Directed by Rick Famuyiwa

Cast: Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Blake Anderson, Zoë Kravitz, A$AP Rocky

Malcolm is a high school geek with a high-top fade, carefully navigating life in The Bottoms, one of the toughest neighborhoods in Inglewood, California. He and his fellow outcasts share a voracious appreciation for all things '90s hip-hop, opting to sport Cross-Colours and Z. Cavariccis at the risk of being clowned at school. He dreams of attending Harvard, but first he has to make it home every day. When a drug dealer takes a shine to Malcolm and invites him to his birthday party, Malcolm’s crew is swirled into a hilarious blender of offbeat characters and bad choices where redemption can only be found in Bitcoin

Watching the GoT finale again, love this show. Needed a refresh for April anyway.

Let ja rule flourish. He's bound to have a other big year, this time for his acting.

Just watched Big Hero 6. Still unexpected when something animated gives you feels. Enjoyed it a lot and glad to see my Asian people as a few main characters.

I love Frances McDormand. As genuine as they come. One of the ones we should celebrate that clearly refused to conform to becoming "Hollywood'd."

So did Eddie Redmayne make a big move tonight for the Oscar? Didn't really believe it after the Golden Globes, but with the SAGs reputation for projecting out and how it's now the second time he's won. I don't know. I'd still give it to three others over him (one of which is a write-in).

There's only network TV in this room I'm sleeping in. Anybody ever seen the 1960s show The Outer Limits?

This **** is wild.
