Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

^Trolling? That's the first time I've heard any praise for The Interview. I've heard various things ranging from "Don't waste your time" to "The fact that Sony pulled this from theaters was funnier."

Also, The Imitation Game was pretty good. Benedict Cumberbatch had me convinced and it just amazed me that those events happened in the history of our civilization. History changing secrets? Statistical influence on war? :nerd:  Hormones or jail? Christopher...:frown:

The Interview was stupid but it had its moments and quotables. Definitely worth checking out on Netflix but wouldn't have recommended seeing it in theaters

Cyrano de Bergerac was that crack :pimp:

The boy José Ferrer put on an acting clinic. The writing was there throughout, some scenes reminded me of Sorkin dialogue wise the way son was eloquently ripping in to ppl.

My only complaint was some of the action scenes simply weren't lighted well for a black and white film

6.8/8

Pitch Perfect 2 and Furious 7 were the only real trailers worth a damn. I was hopin for a Batmna/Superman trailer, or a new Ant Man, or a new Star Wars, somethin BIG, but I guess they didn't want to compete with the awesomeness that is Furious 7. :pimp:

That ****, was wild. :smokin

The ff trailer made it seem like a sci-fi movie with all the ridiculous stuff they do while in those cars and jumping out of those cars. Just ignoring all kinds of car physics and ish.

Surprised they haven't done a crossover with transformers. tyrese could play 2 roles in that one.

FF gives zero damns when it comes to physics.

I'm waiting on that Delorean that where it goes, roads aren't needed.

I'm stoked for the next FF. The trailer had me geeked when Dom was going skyscraper to skyscraper. Is he gonna catch Letty mid-air in between the skyscrapers? That'd be

One thing I recently wondered about the whole FF series is why they never got into stealing cars, especially in the beginning or heck, do a Gone in 60 seconds type of thing where the crew steals a crazy amount of cars as their heist. Is that too low for them? The possibility for car chases would be awesome, especially with the disregard for physics and reality.

btw, this was prob the highlight of the SB commercials for me.

had everything I love.

COC, Liam Neeson, Scones

The way way back was a great movie. Steve Carrell has been performing excellent in his roles recently and the movie had a kind of Adventureland feel.

Feel like I may start watching the office if not I will find another movie on my imdb watch list to watch. In light I always enjoy a movie like The Way Way Back.

^ I really liked the Way Way Back too.. Sam Rockwell played a Bill Murray kind of character in that flick. If you liked Carrell in that, hope you saw Crazy, Stupid, Love. That was a nice flick too.

Anyone see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day?
