srslyAvengers already has a thread, with a couple hundred pages and almost 10,000 replies bro.
I haven't been through there in a lifetime. I figured most regs in here would avoid that thread, since we're elitist and what not, and discuss in here.
I don't say much in there, there's way more comic book nerds in there that know every detail of everything, and I'd get my *** kicked for saying something incorrect, but there is a lot of good info in there. RFX does a tremendous job updating all the comic movie threads with info/content. I've tried to get him in here more often but he's always been more of a General guy, so it's been to no avail. I remember a time where I used to have to recruit people to come in here in the S&T days, by PM invite to let them know what the plan was. Now the thread is self sustaining.

Trust me fellas, I did everything I could, Meth ain't havin it. Ska and DMX both tried to help, but Meth was in on the action, and shut us down for good. Reasoning didn't matter, good intentions, etc etc, didn't phase him at all. If I kept fighting it would just left me lookin for a new SN and the thread would be where it is now anyway.

got a flight to costa rica this weekend. not sure if the plane has wifi but if it does, anything on netflix you guys recommend? might just watch daredevil.

i feel like I'm talking to two different groups between this thread and the avengers thread.. just like this and the star wars threads
those movie specific threads will have more in depth talk about the movies themselves and the universes of the two.. get a little more nerdy about the subject matters

It's very different. I say that being in both threads pretty heavy.
I'd also agree with how you kinda see it. Dudes will get to quality in that thread but also have no problem spending pgs talking about toys or posters or w/e else. Not to say there isn't somethings I ignore in this thread but that's usually about movies I haven't watched or aren't interested in.

This is the tv equivalent to JRS not seeing [insert classic movie].
Man, I had too much goin at one time to get Thrones in. Once I located someone who was collecting the series via DVD, I knew I could start at any moment, when I needed, so I pushed further back to watch more stuff "live" My DVR is full as ****, i have tons of other stuff on the plate, so it's just on the back burner for now. Nothin I can do about it.
I recognize it's a force, I do intend to watch it, I just need time is all.
