the pan up and pan down from the initial punch then rotating the camera when they have the side conversation to set up the landing. all in one shot

Ryan and that cop chick are beyond terrible man but yet I still watch it smh

Yeah I don't get it either It's really the story and the who done it that keeps me watching. I honestly don't see how they'll get multiple seasons out of this though.

Ryan use to at least be a decent actor but I guess this move to tv just kinda shows where his career is (ignoring the current golden age of tv we're in) and it's even worse for Juliette because she's a notoriously good supporting actress if you cast her right. Her trying to be this serious detective isn't fooling anyone. She seems almost robotic in her mannerisms but I can't tell if that's the shortcomings in her acting or the character being slightly autistic.

Just finished the Wedding Ringer and I found it really funny. I went to rotten tomatoes to look at the ratings and critics have it like at 30 but viewers at 70 ...

I dont understand where is the disconnect?

I give it a solid 6/8

Just speculating... but I imagine Kevin Hart is the reason.

I don't know, but I think he did a pretty good job. I have enjoyed a lot of his movies ... They are usually above avg to me ...

I left 'fan' a ways back she would be my No. 1 wifey celeb

I can't remember much when it came out but I know a little after it got a lot discussion and then due to that other ppl decided to watch it on dvd or vod and then pretty much every time somebody new came back with pretty much positive reviews it got discussed all over again It was like a cycle. Not that I didn't want to watch but if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have sought it out.

You know what, that makes three of us. I haven't had a reason to watch it after the disastrous first episodes and I've seen disastrous episodes 2-9 anyway. What is it about that show that does that, since all other shows that I've trial ran and wound up being terrible have been immediately dropped in the past...

I haven't heard any criticism for it, and regardless of the two leads' place in the film power rankings you would think Ryan Phillipe and Juliette Lewis would at least be enough for the T.V. critics to love taking shots at/hate-watching, but instead it's like it doesn't even exist

Maybe they're exactly like us and after Ep. 8 also had no idea how they got this far.
