Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Just saw Jurrasic.

Expectations were so-so, so that helped me enjoy it.

Nothing original about he story line... At all

Basically an updated reboot of the OG, kinda.

But, Chris Pratt was bad *** and the graphics were insane. Some good humour, got the crowd laughing a lot. Good action, and plenty and plenty of dinosaurs.

The graphics and Chris Pratt made this movie very good, the story itself was average.

Overall, well worth the movie to watch at the theaters. Visuals made it worth it alone, absolutely stunning visually.

5.5-6/8

Probably leaning towards the 6.

Watch it, you'll enjoy it, just don't expect any ground breaking story line.

And man, I'm so happy to see my dude Andy Dwyre become a super star before our eyes.

Jurassic World was pretty good.

6/8

Happy to see BD Wong getting a returning role and a slightly bigger role.
Can't wait for the sequel

I can't get myself to want to watch the 3rd episode of the new season of OITNB

This new season is so boring... I'm only 2 eps in but I'm falling asleep

Am I alone?

kinda felt the same way, I have 0 desire or care for piper/alex' story.. and although they aren't the main concentration anymore, they are still very central to the show and it gets really annoying to hear about their ******** on and off relationship. they concentrate a bit more on Nicky in ep 3/4 which is good because I love her character. I'm only on Ep. 4 and it's a bit better than the first few eps.

Yeah, the show benefits from having a villain in charge. I'm on episode 6 and there isn't any major conflicts.

For me, Vincent D'Oonfrio and Bryce Dallas Howard were too much for me. They were too over the top. Pratt was good. The kids were good. The dinosaurs were awesome, but I cringed half the time Pratt or a dinosaur wasn't on screen.

I never thought Pratt would be where he is today after watching the first episode of Parks + Rec years ago. He really has flourished.

Stopping being fat helped him out a lot. I remember first seeing him on Everwood. Good journey from being on a wb show to a movie star.

I'm stunned Jurassic doin these numbers. I didn't even think there was much hype for it. Incredible.
