Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

^^^ I just kept seeing it with people who hadn't seen it before. First my GF (now wife), then my brothers, then friends, etc. I also went back once because some dude I worked with was like, "you need to stay until the end of the credits." That turned out to be nothing. So, it ended up being a lot.
Thats kinda how it was with the first Avengers movie. I think I saw it 5 times in theaters

according to wikipedia, the post credit was this??

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace includes a stinger-like effect to tie this prequel to the later events of the original Star Wars film and its first sequel. Phantom Menace's end-credit music stylistically morphs into "The Imperial March" (the motif of Darth Vader), and the film concludes with Vader's trademark muffled breathing, both audio elements being quite familiar to fans of the earlier films.

I still can't believe Bryce Howard is "Opie Cunningham's" daughter.

* I hope someone get's that reference...

Jessica Chastain or Bryce Howard?

I was about to post similar especially since I just found this out. I didn't know this entire time  :smh:

I was watching Entertainment something and she was talking about her father spoiled that she was cast in JW by posting a pic of her and Pratt on twitter and then they're showing Howard and I'm like did he direct Jurassic World or something? Then she starts talking more about her father spoiling that news and it's only until I see the tweet where Ron is like my daughter..... it had me like :wow:

Mom, dad and Bryce . . .

How? This defies the principles of genetics and common sense.

I get the reference. I have seen both the Andy Griffith show and Happy Days. Bryce is cuter than Chastain, but it's close.

It's actually from an SNL skit (Focus On Film - 1982) featuring Eddie Murphy & Ron Howard. Murphy kept calling him Opie Cunningham & Howard took umbrage to it saying he was a grown up now working as a director & even referenced that he had a baby daughter Bryce. Howard ended up walking off set because Murphy kept referring him as little Opie Cunningham. It was hilarious. Sadly, I couldn't find a clip of it...

This is amazing especially when you consider uncle Clint in the gene pool.

Because of this, I'd have to go with Chasten.

Chappie was pretty damn good. No idea what it was about and just checked it out because of District 9. Thought the ending was great :smokin

Will see Jurassic on Wednesday. Can't wait. Really wish they would let 3D die so I could go see this at the real IMAX

Well for one she's wearing make-up for sure but other than that she looks like her parents to me.

She'll get extra freckly and uglier when she's older. Gingers crack.

I'm surprised to see it doing as great as it did... but Jurassic World would appeal to a huge audience which would explain the monster numbers.

Young, old, teens, adults, fans of the original, new fans, etc. Everyone loves action movies and dinosaurs.

Also, Inside Out is at 100% with 34 reviews so far on RT. Looks like Pixar found it's mojo again.

Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will be back for the third installment in the Pitch Perfect franchise.

Universal has dated Pitch Perfect 3 for Friday, July 21, 2017.

Paul Brooks of Gold Circle Entertainment and Max Handelman and Elizabeth Banks of Brownstone Productions are returning to produce.

As The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported, Kay Cannon, who wrote the first two installments, is in talks to write the third film. It's unclear whether Banks will return to the director's chair.

Pitch Perfect 2, directed by Banks, opened in May to strong success at the box office, taking in $259.7 million worldwide to date. The first installment in the acapella franchise earned $115.4 million worldwide. The series stars Kendrick, Wilson and Brittany Snow, and the second film added Hailee Steinfeld as an important new member of the group.

The only other film currently slated for release on July 21, 2017 is an untitled DreamWorks animation project.

Kendrick, who plays Beca (one of the leaders of the Bellas), has The Accountant with Ben Affleck, Mr. Right with Sam Rockwell and Fox Searchlight’s Table 19 coming up. She's repped by CAA and Morris Yorn.

Wilson's upcoming projects include spy spoof Grimsby and ensemble film How to Be Single. She's repped by WME.

Universal got Furious 7, soon to be 8
Jurassic World, sequel coming soon
Now Pitch Perfect 2, soon to be 3

All RAKING this year. :wow:

Well I think Pitch Perfect is ending as a trilogy. It's honestly lucky to get that far but not surprising given what Hollywood will green-light.

It's more interesting to me that Elizabeth Banks directed the sequel.

my favorite role of Banks is still the Bookstore girl in 40 Year Old Virgin.

That little giggle she lets out when dude is picking up on her.

"How is the mood striking you now"

Pure sex that scene

I like when he said he'll put his bike in her trunk.

I think he asked how big her trunk was because he was going to put his bike in it.

So, I had a blast with Entourage.

It's a pretty poor movie, but as an extended Entourage episode? It's awesome.

Definitely felt like it was edited heavily though. They never connected the dots with Drama and that dude that was catching him sexting.

rewatching the first movie and the dinos in jurassic park look better than jurassic world

my god is this movie edited perfectly

The amazing thing about Jurassic park, there are only 15 mins of actual dinosaur footage in the film

Kinda like Anthony Hopkins in silence of the lambs, who is only in the film for just over 16 mins

I thought Wayaward Pines was on some with M. Night's wild mystery on tv but this show The Whispers takes the cake.

They got children with imaginary friends orchestrating the murder of their parents as part of a game, crashes plane/weapon test site in Africa/aliens (apparently), a tattooed amnesiac, and more left turns on the way.

OITNB delivered a solid 3rd Season.

Can't believe this show is onto season 4.

Seemed a new buzz only a short time ago.

Man, when you get old,  days feel like hours, weeks feel like days, months feel like weeks, and years feel like months.
