Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Hell yea man.

This whole episode was intense.

I never would have thought it would be tied up like that.

Show will be stealing more than a few Emmy's this year. Can't wait

My math stuff is a bit shaky but I believe it's call cross multiplication or something

However, I can not recommend that as a way of rating out of /8

ahh yes 7/10 X 8/8= 56/80 = 70% or 5.6/8

The Affair really done did it with this finale.

They managed to turn a murder trial in to a situation where dude has to choose between the mother of his children and the love of his life (I guess, technically) and son chose to fall on his sword and take the L for both of them. He should be writing books about all of this

Can't see how all the Noah haters don't think he's at least redeemed himself by now.

I was wondering how the show can go on with this storyline for another season but they outdid themselves with that ending. The possibilities for S3 are endless.

it's the most wonderful time of the year...

yo do you guys remember back in the day when screeners would switch back and forth from color to black and white throughout the whole movie?

Yes Scott absolutely killed that performance, scene.

He took the episode over the top as soon as he made an appearance, and took it to the moon with that song.

I was gonna make a post asking for direction towards the screeners online but one google search revealed so much. It's like they're promoting it everywhere

Writing wise they could've went another way with it too and just tell Allison before hand and then she can lie on the stand a little. She obviously wouldn't say Helen was driving or that she was even there when he got hit just say somewhere on the road Scottie stopped her argued and also took the wedding rock from her or something.

I'm hoping for a mistrial in S3 or somehow the lawyer really confuses the jury and Noah gets off. If he's in prison in S3 Imma be tight. Cuz what you do then? Time skip to after he does his bid?

I ******* love this show man

That scene with Scott singing and she tells Noah the truth..so well shot man.
Scott got some pipes
 That caught me off guard too. I had looked away when he started singing and they kept going back and forth with looking at Noah and Allison so I never got to see him actually sing until he was hitting those climactic moments in the song. It was really good.

caught up on some movies on the plane

straight outta compton 6.8/8 interesting characters, well acted. thought they should have focused more on the music rather than the politics of the group.

bridge of spies 6/8, borderline interesting story. tom hanks is solid as expected, direction is solid as expected. movie dragged a bit.

footloose 6.5/8 fun movie, classic soundtrack. The preacher's wife looks exactly like the girl in this years Mission impossible movie

Saw an 11 pm showing of The Force Awakens last night. 7.685/8. Well worth staying up far past my normal bedtime. I'm not going to write a review because I'd basically be repeating what other have already said.

If I have one complaint . . .

I felt like they moved on from Han dying a little quickly. You got the moment Leia felt it and her hug with Rey when she gets back to base, but that's pretty much it. Felt like there should have been at least a couple more minutes or another scene of him being mourned. But maybe I'm biased because I think Han Solo is one of the top 5 characters in film history

My only complaint about the experience was all the freaking trailers they showed before the movie. It was like 10 and too damn near 25 minutes. I don't go to the theater very often - is that normal these days? Seemed interminable to me.

Pretty normal.

They used to only show 3 but starting back 2010/2011, the upped it to 5-7

But the bigger the movie, the more trailers they show.

Star Wars being the biggest film of 2015, it's no surprise they showed 10+ trailers.

man.. finally watched ex machine last night all the way through (had seen pieces but never the full thing):

movie is a mindf)@(*@).. like so many questions about what was going on internally with all characters involved

Rey is Bae... I'm all in on Daisy Ridley. What a performance. She's sort of the 'vanishing point' of this new trilogy, and I'm in love with it. Have never been this far in on a female lead in an action setting, and we have two more films to go. Brilliant casting - she's terrific.

Obi-Wan's daughter? :nerd:
