I saw these docs Friday, they were both great

Also, MJ was a force user on the low?

Learned a lot I didn't know from both of these docs.
Donnie Darko can do no wrong

Need to check out those docs, especially the HBO one.

It's felt like ages since HBO Sports has released one.

Yeah I'm officially not a Miles Teller fan.

I dunno something about dude I dislike. Despite how much I loved Whiplash.
yeah sorkin is one of those writers where all the characters sound like him

not 100% sure but there is no way he created the ipod just because he saw his daughter with a walkman
Yeah, the little things like that  On top of the dialogue.

Dude took a lot of liberties.

it was a very interesting take on the character of steve jobs

like he was by far the smartest person in the room yet somehow he still was delusional in how he overrated his own intellect

Miles Teller's face just says punch me. He's replaced Evan Peters in my "I just hate your face so f*****g much I might punch you on sight"

I found myself siding with Woz the last 2 times.

It was like yeah Jobs is a visionary genius but they didn't show a lot of that. That part is dependent on what we know in real life about Jobs and Apple. So out of all 3 the cube part just made me think this dude is a daring con man

The movie also made me realize how much Halt & Catch Fire has stolen from it

he was so stubborn

in an interview with the actual woz he said that he would not have done the things seth rogan did in the movie because he's not that confrontational

steve jobs had the basic NT mentality of never backing down and never admitting that he's wrong, to the point of disowning his own kid

For Best Picture, I'm yet to see:

Bridge of Spies

Mad Max

Room (I'd never even heard of this until I looked up the nominees)

I've seen all but Brooklyn for the best picture category. I'm pretty sure that's not going to win so I'm not even sure if I want to watch it let alone put myself through a movie with a bunch of hard Irish/Scottish accents.

Gonna watch Carol tomorrow and probably get to Creed.

^^^ Crazy that Efron is all-of-a-sudden a big comedy movie star. Didn't see his career going in that direct (nor do I think its necessarily justified), but good for him I guess.

ha. they filmed that on our island. the place where they were jumping the quads though, they're super strict on being reckless. i got scolded a bunch of times for sliding the quad and going off the trail. i'll probably watch that one.

He's usually a jock type that does some comedy or trying to be normal that goes a bit crazy or the straight man.

I really don't see him as somebody that's funny. Good little niche he's carving out for himself though.

Is he actually funny or are these movies trying to convince us he's funny? I don't plan on ever watching those neighbors movies.

No, he's not funny. Like Zik said, he plays more the straightman roles in the comedies he's been in. He occasionally does something funny and his timing is ok, but he's for sure no comedian.

I watched Neighbors. It was like all Seth Rogen movies. There are a few things here and there that make you laugh, but most of it is trying too hard and it goes on longer than it needs to. I have no real interest in the 2nd one that's coming out.

Looks cold out there. Stick your tongue on her metal zipper and it'll get stuck like in A Christmas Story.

You guys think Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune will be on air until the hosts die? Always wanted to be on Jeopardy.

Emily + The Super Bowl luxury box = life goals

And I'd be willing to bet they keep going with new hosts.. if Price is Right can continue with Bob Barker, so can those shows.
