been looking into this youtuber that does essay like videos talking about themes, motifs, and styles of movies that he chooses. he does music and general pop culture events as well
posting his children of men movie cuz its my favourite movie and I did a huge essay on the movie myself
wrote 10 pages like it was nothing
here's another one for example. no coincidence that it's another Cuaron movie but hey I'm a fan of his as well

Man, I remember when I first started watching Black Sails.
It wasn't the easiest watch and it took me a few starts to get through ep1. I finished the Season and didn't regret watching it but it wasn't something I recommended as a good watch. When season 2 started I didn't even watch it until a full year after release.
Season 2 was one of the best Series' that I had ever seen. The story, characters, eye candy, execution, setting, action scenes, authenticity as far as the feel, you name it and this show had it, for me.
Season 3 started and I was so eager I watched the leaked episode a week before release. Now, we are 5 episodes in and I tell you what, I don't know how it got better, how they improved on the perfection of Season 2, but they did.
This will probably go down as the best television that I have ever watched. The show is amazing, and every week, every episode, they add to the greatness with a new part of the story, the puzzle, the show, and it's brilliant.

Just finished Trainspotting for the first time and it's brilliant. The way it bounces between hilarious to pure disgust frequently is insane. Props to Danny Boyle on this one.

really fun watch. really like all the cameos from actors on freaks and geeks/undeclared/the apatow-verse
took me a long time to get thru s1, s2 took maybe a week. show is just purely enjoyable. s2 when vane took out the rival captain and mounted his head on a pike i jumped out my seat

Just saw that the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon sequel " Sword Of Destiny" releases on February 26. The trailer had some weird robotic music. I feel like this movie will disappoint me, I hope i'm wrong. Donnie Yen is in it, dude is in like 99% of the Asian movies on netflix.
