you can hear a song that you hate but end up loving it because the way it sounds in the car with decent speakers

it's the equivalent to being at a club and a song that you hate comes on but it sounds ill thru the sound system
I definitely understand you there. I'm from Atlanta.

But, I feel like he's selling himself short with some of those joints. And I really hate to nitpick on them, because they're dope.

I guess it's "good filler." (an oxymoron)

yea but I think he actually went out of his way too add the car songs on this...on the real deal debut I dont think we will see that many songs dedicated to this subject...i feel like he added those just make sure he had sumtin for the people that may be coming on board who never heard KWH or maybe had the misconception that he was "boring" or ya know "he dont sound southern"
but on the debut I think we will see him go too some more introspective/conscious songs just cus thats what he is truly bout...Return of 4Eva is a perfect bait album for the  parts of the southern fanbase who was kinda sleepin on him

that remains to be seen. i'm eager to see what direction his Def Jam debut takes. people are quick to say their favorite artist sells out, when it is more label geared than anything. Sha Money knows talent, so I hope K.R.I.T. gets the creative freedom

Ima give dude a listen. Got a snippet of one of his tracks and was impressed so I feel like this album might be worth an introduction

I'm definitely going to another Big K.R.I.T. show whenever he's back in Houston. Hopefully, it'll be at the HOB or something. Dude brought out Chamillionaire, Bun B, Slim Thug and Killa Kyleon. Houston has mad love for K.R.I.T. and the crowd was jumpin'.

Return to 4Eva was dope. Definitely better than all of his previous projects imo.

I haven't listened to "Return of 4eva" yet, but I thought I'd drop-in and post a feature he did recently with one of my favorite groups:

got ya bro

The was my first time seeing/hearing this guy. He made some good points. I agree with what he said regarding the strengths of the album, but I'm not with him on the weaknesses.

I'm writing a review of R4 for my school paper and I'm giving it a 4 or 4.5 out of 5. The only thing keeping it from being "perfect" is the amount of playa and car songs. I know those are big influences in his life and style as a rapper, but I feel like if would've added another "conscious/introspective" song or two it would've been a perfect album. He'll be here in NC on April 21 and a %+%%+ will be in attendance.

He barely mentioned weaknesses so I don't see the issue. The "choo-choo" on that track isn't exactly one of the high points of the album. I don't see anything wrong with te review.
