*Official BIG K.R.I.T.***New Album***:: "KRIT IZ HERE" OUT JULY 12 2019!! "KRIT HERE" OUT NOW!!!

400

My 52 year old pops know what's happenin.

 :pimp:

His album wasn't as good as his mixtapes, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good.  I'd take LFTU over 90% of legitimate rap albums dropping today and I wasn't totally in love with it, either.

As far as making money, trust that these tapes are indirectly helping to line his pockets.  He may not be able to officially sell them due to sample clearance issues or whatever, but if people are saying you're 4 out of 4 with mixtapes, those tapes are helping with selling your brand.

So the sales from KRIT Wuz Here and R4 at Best Buy doesn't go to him?

It does, but it's not like they were pushing 100K copies of em

I'm not into counting a man's pockets, but I'm pretty sure KRIT is doing well for himself. Even tho his album didn't sell extremely well you gotta remember he did ALL of the production and the only major feature was Ludacris (who's on Def Jam..and probably did it for a discount).

Finally playing K.R.I.T. in the whip, been headphoning it since wednesday.. I think I might have to invest in a higher amp alternator and some subs just to do this tape justice..I need more bass..

You're not alone. I was still hype like I was bassing though.

Wish I could go to the show here in Houston today. Def jam should be ashamed of themselves.

Krit does it again....his content, delivery, beat selection is just mean! I purchased LFTU just for the fact his mixtapes always deliver. We gotta continue to support good music! The gems he gives us for free is better than 90% of the content "they" try to force feed us.

i mean krit is a car connoisseur , and he makes alot of the beats

it makes sense that he would kraft the sound to be specifically

sonically pleasing in the whip.probably does a few whip test's

before putting the project out , i wouldnt doubt it

it was before the album came out so he did a buncha songs off his mixtapes..

these are the ones i remember..

my sub

i got this

moon and stars

glass house

country ****

gumpshun

rotation

and yeah, i met him at a meet and greet and he's about 5'9''-5'10''

I saw him in October. It was a good show, but I was kinda disappointed in the song selection. Other than 4EvaNaDay and temptation, he didn't do anything from the mixtape. I wanted to see Country Rap Tunes and Sky Club more than anything else, go neither.

that's because it was an album tour. When artists have album tours they rarely do a lot of songs from the mix tape and because that's usually how labels want it.

If Def Jam really had their way he would've done ZERO songs from his mixtapes
