LFTU was solid but I don't believe it was an accurate reflection of who KRIT is as an overall artist. I put 50 percent of the blame on Def Jam for that and the other 50 on KRIT.

The whole sampling issue and def jam not opening up the budget was an understandable hurdle but at the same time I think KRIT took the easy way out(maybe a poor choice of words) with some of the records he put on the album.

because they're comparing it to KRIT's mixtapes, not tyga's album. In that regard, his debut album was weaker than his mixtapes even though it was a better album than 95% of the albums that came out in 2012.
 
i dont like LFTU at all with the exception of a few songs

the beats are weaker(sample issues) and its just not the same. country **** was also a terrible single choice IMO. that was the first KRIT song i heard and is partially to blame why i have yet to check for him until recently i heard highs and lows in a NT thread

just went to my first Krit show yesterday in dc. he is easily my favorite hip hop artist and his show did not disappoint. so much energy and passion as he preformed his hits. "My Trunk" dropped **** was twerkin bruhs! and he confirmed "just last week" will be his next single :pimp:, things are looking up for our boy.

man you really missed out. from time to time i forget how many beutiful women we have in the metropolitan area. krit killed, back alley killed, and the dj was on point its truely a great day.
 
Finally got a chance to get through the whole tape. KRIT never disappoints man. Whole tape is quality. King without a Crown, My Trunk, Talkin bout nothing, REM, all are :pimp:
