Went back to all of K.R.I.T.'s mixtapes and albums, got me really hyped for Cadillactica. Almost forgot how much I loved his music before that last tape (just couldn't get into it).

Why wouldn't you want samples? Like 90% of all his best songs have samples IMO. That's bad news for real :smh:

That's a good point. I'm thinking Def Jam didn't give him the budget for a sample heavy album. Could be a bad thing, because LFTU was lacking samples and it suffered for it.
 
It's on NPR right now first listen. I'm holding out still, haven't heard a damn thing yet but it's so tempting
