Meaning that the Z is a pure sports car in every single way.
The FRS/BRZ is a car that was meant to be fun. Doesn't necessarily have a ton of power, but it was made with the driver in mind simply put. This car is something else and it is definitely appreciated.
With that being said, I'd much rather spend the dough on a slightly used Base+Sports Package 370Z. Have some money left over and switch out for the Nismo exhaust

THIS.If anything it looks like a Tiburon or Genesis. It follows that Japanese fastback mold
these cars are all wack, because they look like twins of wack cars to begin with.

Right people have been going crazy for what? Yeah it's cool that Toyota and Subaru teamed up but IMO it doesn't deserve that much hype. It deserves a lot of recognition I'll admit that, but people weren't even this hyped when the Z came back. The only thing worth noting on this car is the handling, suspension, etc. It's an amazingly fun car to drive, period but it's nowhere near a performance beast compared to other cars in this price range. It was made for people who just want to be able to whip around and whatnot, not for people who want to go fast.
The styling is very unoriginal. Let me know when Toyota gets their head outta their ***** and brings back the Supra.
Like I said before I'd rather get a used Z than this. How dare that dude compare the two. The Z is superior in every single aspect in terms of straight performance. It is a pure sports car. This car is a daily driver that can double as a solid sports car on the weekends. Awesome idea, but not for me.
Shoot you could get a new WRX for the price. Or drop a couple more and get an STI or an Evo.
BUT the complaining stops there. I'm not going to act like this isn't a great car because it is. It's PERFECT as a fun daily driver. Or for someone who doesn't really buy a car for performance but still wants to have fun with it. Just not my cup of tea, that's all. /endrant

Don't really like the slammed look with this car. It's perfect stock IMO. Dropping it takes away from that aggressive stance they were going for with this car.

me and my friend went to go test drive this for fun the other day and my goodness is this a fun car.
the engine sounds amazing the steering is perfect its got just enough power to have fun with but not kill yourself. and the poor salesman was laying down in the backseat
when i took it up to 7000 rpm it sounded so dam good. i wanna buy one of these if i can after college. anyone know how many are being produced?
and toyota is marking these up like crazy.

The reason they're sold out now is because 1)The is a very anticipated car 2)Limited numbers 3)Toyota/Subaru wanted to create a little hype surrounding it

There's no mark up on the scions. msrp is $24,995. brz on the other hand, has a crazy mark up here in CA

according to the salesman he toldme they mark them up 4-5 k. the car i test drove was priced at 29k

Yea, My last 3 cars were black, i went white this timeBatmobileNow this I can mess with. But I will never buy a black car again. I gotta wash my black civic every week just so it doesn't look like complete. But black by far looks the best after a fresh wash
