I dont know if this has been asked before but I was pondering it...I feel like they would definitely sell better than the I's did when they were first retro-ed, no sale racks needed.
I would definitely cop without hesitation. My question to you all is, do you think something like this could ever happen or was it a one time thing? And would YOU cop?

(Disregard the Playoff Wade 1's that released a few years back during the playoffs, love Wade no disrespect to him, but were talking shoes of magnitude.

The Zoom Generation arent even that nice. Have you played in them? They were kinda hard and had a loose fit. They looked good and were cheap but there really isnt a need to retro them yet.

Maybe a Lebron II retro those were nice

What do the zoom Jugenerations have anything to do with the retro Jordan I's? Not sure how Nike would make a decision on re-releasing them just because they did it with the Jordan I's.

^I am not saying that they are my favorite LeBron model by any means, I am just saying that would it mark the date for LeBron retros. I wouldnt imagine theyd start in the middle..if it ever happens, itd probably begin with the first and they would go from there.

When did I say they are dependent on each other? I am just stating the opportunity for it to happen. The LeBron line is the first since Jordans line to continue 8 and counting years for Nike. It just seems like it COULD happen.

We'll see them retro'd one day. The only Zoom Generations I purchased during the original release was the First Games, I was too broke to get any other one. My First Games are beat, so I'd love to have some retros to play in.

I don't think lebron has done anything note worthy to have his shoe's re released i.e. a championship. Jordan had 3 championships by this time if I'm not mistaken

Actually now that I think about it again, the Jordan I was probably retroed in '94 purely cuz MJ retired for the first time at the end of the '92-'93 season, probably with the thought that he'd never play again so it couldn't hurt to retro some of his shoes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know if Nike intentionally thought of "retroing" as a thing until then? Did they think about re-releasing the Is again in '94 regardless of whether or not MJ retired?

I don't know if I'm right or not on MJ's retirement leading to the Jordan Is being retroed, but if a player is still playing in the league, it doesn't make total sense to me for Nike to push older models at the same time as they're trying to promote the newest one, with better tech and all that. It makes sense for them to retro Jordans now obviously because there's so much nostalgia with each model, regardless of the actual tech behind them, which will sell the shoes automatically. Going by that, then I don't think the Zoom Generations would be retroed next year.
