i was talking with @FLiP SeNsAyShUn and we were both wondering if Nike sponsored teams were allowed to wear the CL trophies patch.. bayern, real, AC Milan, Liverpool all wear them but have never seen a Nike sponsored team wear em.. any idea?
as of right now the only Nike sponsored team with more then 3 trophies is barca.. so why dont they wear it?

Because they only have patches for 3,5,7,9 and now 10 for RM.
Barca have won it four times, so it's no good them wearing the 3 patch when they've won it more times, and not enough times to wear 5

Well, I've never seen a 4 trophy winners patch. But after googling it, it appears they do exist. In which case I have no idea

Ive never seen a 3 patch.. who wears that? in that case united would be another example of a Nike sponsored club...

I thought it was Nike that didn't want them to wear patches. As far as I know, the only non-Adidas team that I can think of that uses the trophy patch is Liverpool.

I've got a feeling it's something as simple as Adidas being the Champions Leagues main sportswear sponsor ie they provide the match balls etc.

Chelsea has only won it once and no trophy patch. (Adidas)
Barca, Man Utd, Juventus all with Nike and Porto with Warrior have all won it before and have no trophy patch.
