Method Man:
Keep in mind, NikeTalk serves tens of thousands of different people each day and the average user experience is not the same as the experience of someone who spends 2+ hours per day here.
Let's be really negative and say that the white page issue occurs on 2% of page loads. If that's the case, the overwhelming majority of our users encounter it very rarely and, then, it's an easy fix: just refresh the page. If you're on here constantly, then it becomes more of a nuisance. If you submit 30 posts per day, then every few days you'll likely have a post that falls into that 2% and doesn't go through - and that's frustrating. For what percentage of our total user base will this be a major problem? It's a very small minority, but a vocal minority - and for the same reason: that minority consists of our most diehard regulars. If you fall into that category, ipso facto you keep up with the forums on a regular basis. For that reason, I don't think it's necessary to use a pinned topic to address the issue when a regular post will do.
We are, of course, aware of the issue and it will be addressed, but I hope everyone can keep it in perspective.
We're always looking to improve the experience for ALL of our users. Our forum regulars are very important to NikeTalk, but we can't always put the needs of that 1% ahead of the other 99. Development resources are limited and must be prioritized. We want to make NikeTalk the best it can be, but keep in mind when you complain that your experiences are often atypical.
If the stitching in a running shoe creates a slight stub and that creates a blister for you after running a marathon, that's obviously not ideal - but it doesn't mean that Nike needs to put a warning label on the box and urge all its customers to buy a size up and wear two pairs of socks.

Thanks! They're similar to the ads in our profile pages and only appear on the bottom of the page so tough to 'actually' catch.Originally Posted by Method Man

I haven't seen it lately, but if it is showing up then it'll be blocked shortly. If there's more than one, just be sure to grab the destination URL so we can deal with it.
