How To Effectively Protect Your Skin From The Sun

Our skin is damaged by UV rays regardless of your race. To think otherwise is silly. Granted, susceptibility rates are different but still.

I use SPF 55 on the face. You want one that is photostable. Shiseido makes some good ones. I use a combination primer/SS but I am going to assume you don't wear makeup so that's not really important. For the body I use neutrogena, or whatever is on sale. I'm not as particular with body SS as I am with face.

There's actually a few drugs you can take to protect your skin from the sun.
Take tetracycline or any of the fluoroquinolones. It'll definitely help.

Being black doesn't guard you from getting sunburned or skin cancer from too much exposure to UV.

I use a Vitamin C serum since I don't like the greasiness that most sunscreens tend to have.
