RIP

As somebody who still bumps 90's West Coast music like it's brand new I am literally hurt by this news. Greatest hook man of all time and one of the most distinctive voices ever

Prayers go out to his family and friends I know he's been suffering for the last few years

Word.

Waiting on a primary DJ to put together a true Nate Dogg song/hook/chorus/guest appearance mixtape (or do it live on a radio show) to really display how brilliant he was.

This hits me HARD man...

There were 3 people that were VERY influential in my music choices and they are all now dead. Pac, Big, now Nate...

Some of the garbage that gets played on the radio today shouldnt even be called music. There is so much good music that these 3 people did, you could have a radio station play their songs for weeks or months and I wouldnt shut it off. Nate was the definition of late 90's, early 2000's hip hop. Every other song that was being made had him on the hook, and it was a SMASH...

F these Drakes, these Lil waynes, give me 90's west coast hip hop and I'm a happy man.

R.I.P. homie, hope your singin those nasty hooks to angels...

I remember watching Head of State and being floored when he came in and randomly started singing to narrate the movie.
