Al Bundy Appreciation Thread

Only dude I know that held his nuts on national tv. He just didn't care man.

never really watched the show...but from waht ive watched in the past, and that clip you posted, dude is the king of no dambs given. swag thru the roof. and the really featured some bad girls on that show, you'd think it was HBO...

Marcy was a lesbian lol

Bud is pretty cute short dude now.

Al was the boss. His new show doesn't do it for me.

One  of my favorite lines was "pretty women make us buy bear. Ugly women make us drink bear".

No way could you make a show  like that today. The PC police would throw a massive hissy fit and get their panties in a bunch

Love this show. One of my fav episodes is when he got the Dodge washed at the Car Wash.

Sir can we have your keys?

Hands him a screwdriver. LMAO

Funnier still was the fact that he hadn't washed his car in YEARS and then the carwash workers claimed they lost his Dodge .... turns out it was so dirty they washed it down to it's original color :wow: Al totally forgot it was a red car!

Interestingly enough "The Dodge" was actually a Plymouth Duster. This makes it even more comical When Al tells peg "I don't want a Plymouth, Peg, I want my Dodge".

Additionally, Al supposedly had it when he scored his 4 touchdowns in the mid 1960s, but the car is a 1972 model that wouldn't have been in production yet

Love this show :smokin

Favorite sitcom ever :smokin

One of the funniest shows of ALL TIME.

Can't remember the exact episode but AL was setting up some Christmas lights outside and gets electrocuted and looks in the camera before passing out

In the episode when he went to London and one of the dudes names was Winston, but he kept forgetting the guys name and calling him different brands of cigarettes.

Another interesting MWC fact:

The roles of Al and Peggy were originally written with Sam Kinison and Roseanne Barr in mind, but they both turned the parts down.

Posted this in another thread, but during the height of this show David Faustino (Bud Bundy) was made to work at McDonald's by his mother, so he could learn the value of a dollar. Said it was the best thing that ever happened to him...

His fat insults would not fly in today's television. One of a kind character :pimp:

My favorite though was when a group of obese women protested in his store chanting "Two, four, six, eight, don't make fun of our weight!"

He replies "One, two, three, four, you're going to fall through the floor."
