Feel bad for Gus. Should be doing more college hoops and NFL, yet he is stuck doing soccer.....a sport where snobby soccer fans dont appreciate Gus. Its really unfortunate how badly he is being misused and underutilized.

Quite sure this is what he's been working for his whole career. He had it with MSG but Dolan did him dirty. Now its just seasonal gigs to pay the bills until he gets a lucrative contract with a network.

I agree. Some of the neo-soccer fans are real snobby. I like Gus and he will get better.

Gus is quite literally the most unique broadcast announcer American soccer fans have ever heard.
It's all good though, Euro snobs and elitist can crave cookie cutter British announcers as much as their hearts desire, too bad you're stuck with Gus.
In all seriousness Gus has done a good job. His strengths as an announcer have far outweighed any growing pains experienced on the way.
