kind of disappointed but I trust Nolan to deliver us the best film possible, no doubts from me.
 
I hope TDKR is like 6-7 hours long and split into 2 parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading online that if JGL isn't playing Falcone's son it would be Deadshot (probably wishful thinking).

I'm praying for Black Mask though, there have been rumors about that too. Not in regards to JGL playing him, just Black Mask in general.

Even with all the speculation, we don't even know if he even signed on to play a villainous role

Dunno if I'd wanna see Robin just "yet".

Riddler wouldnt be too bad, but Deadshot seems like a long shot to me considering you gotta factor in Bane and Catwoman's stories.
 
Heres what I'm hoping for:
JGL as Black Mask ( in connection with Catwoman)
Marion Cotillard as Talia Al Ghul (in connection with Bane and League Of Shadows)

jgl awesome, but i hope christian bale sorta fixes up batmans voice for this movie, raspy is good but when batman sounds like he needs a voice box then change is needed imo...
 
Cotillard and Gordon-Levitt Officially Join The Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Oscar[emoji]174[/emoji] winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend.

Cotillard will appear as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham.

Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon.

The film reunites the actors with Christopher Nolan, who recently directed them in the award-winning blockbuster Inception.

The director stated, "When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience.  I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again."

Heading the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale stars as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The main cast also includes Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy as Bane.

Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer.  Christopher Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for release on July 20, 2012.  The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Scooper 'Chad' alerted us that the official site for The Dark Knight Rises has come online at TheDarkKnightRises.com (or TheDarkKnightRises.WarnerBros.com). For now it's just a black page with the sound of people chanting. You can click on the black page to be taken directly to the sound file. Is it the start of another impressive viral campaign like the studio put together for The Dark Knight?

Now filming on three continents for a July 20, 2012 release, the Christopher Nolan sequel stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata and Nestor Carbonell.

UPDATE: That didn't take long. SuperHeroHype Forums member 'Riskproduction' figured out using an audio program that in spectrum the audio says "#thefirerises" which of course would mean something on Twitter. There's even a Twitter.com/TheFireRises account!
