pre-ordered the vinyl. amped.

I was on top of the original trilogy set release but balked at the $200 price tag. Came to regret that decision when it eventually sold out and the value doubled up.

where can i find this pre-order? are you referring to BBTM? because im at the same boat, i remember going to the weeknd shop to buy the trilogy record set and then laughing and shaking my head when i saw the price, and of course now its pretty damn valuable after thinking it would of not gained as much value as i thought it would.

and wait what, theres official vinyl releases of HOB, Thursday, and EOS?

If this is correct

Nah that's fake. I think Wiki had young thug featured at one point

I know you guys dont want to hear it, but I think we've lost the HOB, EOS, Thursday type Weeknd. He's gone mainstream :\
But thats what you have to do if you wanna make it these days. The power holders want a certain type. The type that makes people dance, spend money in the clubs...ear worm type music.
There's not 1 song in the whole trilogy, maybe besides glass table girls that would make it in the clubs. It wont sell, so now he has to make music that sells. Unfortunately I think he's become a victim of the record labels. He's has to put out "poppy" type music to please the masses and the labels :smh:

I have low expectations for his upcoming album. Ed Sheeran?? :smh: ...Weeknd smiling too much (I refuse to call him Abel)
Maybe we'll get a song or two that reminds us of the mixtape days :smh:

Yall so foolish man. [emoji]128514[/emoji]

The dude has never disappointed. Like his career batting average is still .997

Yall setting yourselves up failure, expect to hear a "trash" album or a "pop" album and that's exactly what you're going to perceive it as when you do hear it.

I can't feel my face is so :smh:

I'm glad dude getting his bread but that song could literally be sung by Bruno Mars or something and might even be better. It's just so generic in terms of sound

I'm not even going into this with trilogy quality expectations. Just gimme something better than kissland, not too poppy, with that timeless sound :smokin

Do you remember when The Weeknd sang "Love me, before they all love me." in Rolling Stone? He knew he would reach this level, which is awesome. I'm expecting some great tracks on this.

Anyone know of any other sites/stores to cop the physical CD of HOB (and Thursday and EOS when they release)? One of my friends wants to cop but it's backordered on BestBuy.com and it looks like it's not available in Best Buy stores. I see HOB on Amazon but I'm not sure if it's just someone selling burnt CDs .

"So baby love me....before they all love meeeee.....until you won't love meeee"

     "I'll be different....I think I'll be different....I hope I'm not different....and I hope you'll still listen"  - Pay attention to the Boi

I honestly do not mind the style switch up of his songs; just like any other artist who we say: "ughh I wish they would go back to their old ways" why ? If  Weeknd (or any artist) kept making the SAME style of songs over the course of their career, how can they stay relevant ? To me it'll take away the luster of the old material....

I'm glad Kissland and BBTM are different from Trilogy because when I go back to playing it,I'll appreciate the material even more; It'll still have that appeal that it embodies. It'll stand out and be distinct just like the other two albums IMO  but to each's own
