Not one positive review I''ve read about this album yet in the few hours that it has leaked

Now to find it and listen to it myself
It's a good album but if you were hoping it would be anything but a pop album...

Reflecting on it, I feel like a Drake feature would have definitely put this over the top. I wonder what happened there

Yea man....
The production on Tell Your Friends sounds like Kanye tailored that production to him, and was just excited to work with him in general which I feel was further reflected in the clothing ads and stuff. Some of these other tracks are bad tho..... Like real bad. When I gave it a 6.5/10 that was based off the merit that I was giving the songs that had been out for a while the benefit of just being good songs independent of the album.

Say we took the traditional 9 song format of the mix tape with the new songs.... And we're looking at 3/10

All of this.

The best songs are the ones that leaked lol. Except in the night. That **** is still trash

This isn't going to get negative reviews. This is going to get so much love it'll be crazy. I already know I'm gonna love the album. I liked every song I heard so far.I believe if people let go of their expectations, they would enjoy it. It was probably the same with KL, seeing how people are lining it up with the Trilogy now.

Two different trains of thought at work here.
I think it's being confused that a lot of the core fans wanted him to produce trilogy 2.0 ( I know there's a few who do) but as previously stated we just wanted to see evolution from the previous works.

I think most of us got into The Weeknd because it so violently went against the grain of traditional R&B. No poppy in the rain ripped white T-shirt stuff.

Everyone has their preference when it comes to music. If we wanted to get Ed Sheran/Adam Levine/Bruno Mars type of tracks there's already a slew of artist who we could've catered to.

With all that said, I hope there is a music reviewer who calls this album for what it is.

Yo, someone needs to check on a blinkin.

I know he's got to be hip to the leak by now...

Son is probably going into cardiac arrest.

So I just started listening and "Real Life" is playing and one of the first lines is

"Ill be the same, never change for nothing"

:smh:

*Fixed

So basically it's not bad, it's just not what you want. Don't think that's fair. You already came in with expectations, and they just weren't met and you aren't judging it with a clear head.

I'll be different....I think I'll be different...I hope I'm not different....and I hope you still listen[emoji]127926[/emoji][emoji]127926[/emoji][emoji]127926[/emoji]

And reading about that scrapped album, I never wished a persons belongings ever get stolen....but I hope this ***** laptop or hard drive come up missing and we get them songs. [emoji]128064[/emoji]

I just hope after I listen to this tape, it'll make me go smash a pro and then head to my girls house to tell her I love her.
