Nah. Just the usual banter that we partake in every few months while waiting for new material. Swear I know some of you guys' favorite tracks by now. :lol:

"what you need" was how i found this dude's music... it was on some random valentine's mix by some random DJ...

didn't know there was a 3 track zip b4... "coming down" was on that jawn? what else?

"coming down" has prolly trumped "what you need" as my fav song by abel, but "what you need" will always be special since it was the first.

just need the 2013 live version with no audience...

It's probably the best song to put someone who likes traditional R&B onto as a first sample of The Weeknd. So smooth :pimp:

Yeah, it was on Drake's OVO Blog like mid-December the year before House of Balloons and the rest of the trilogy dropped. All three songs were released individually under 'The Weekend' prior to that, and Wicked Games was actually put up as well a few weeks before House of Balloons released. The zip had What You Need (pretty much exactly like the final version), The Morning (this was pretty different. Kind of sounds like a chopped version of the final song if I remember correctly. I hated this **** :lol:), and Loft Music (also pretty much the same as the final version except for all of the moaning at the end) I believe.

That audience-less recording of What You Need has to be out there somewhere :lol:

Only songs from the mixtapes/Kissland that I have no problem skipping are The Party & The After Party and The Knowing.

House of Balloons is still my favorite mixtape of his though :lol:. With Thursday a VERY close 2nd and Echoes of Silence close behind that. I could probably say that on any given day, either one of them could be my favorite :lol:. Kiss Land outshines them all imo though. **** plays out like a movie.

I don't know how you guys actually don't like The Knowing but if you could listen to this live version of it and not be moved, you aren't human

 
Funny I Agree With Everything You Said House of balloons 1,Thursday a very close 2nd and so on..except the knowing and party and the after party are some of my favorites by him..
