I have the unpopular opinion on these, I actually prefer the Trilogy version of those songs because I like the clear, mastered sound.Trilogy killed "What you Need" though.
That Aaliyah sample on the original is criminal.
I really like the beat, but I gotta agree.

Got around to running it back a few times and I still completely agree with the post I quoted earlier. I like the hook though.
I'm getting tired of these mythical hating, sound stealing ___s that Abel keeps feeling the need to mention. I hope he's not talking about Party/the OVO crew, because they sound very little alike and it would just make him look catty.

Read the lyrics and came to appreciate his flow even more. The whole third verse he's takin direct shots at Party

King of the Fall isn't bad. I like Often better. I am not the biggest fan when he does the "rap singing". The verses become a little monotonous and i start to zone out. He needs time to flex the voice

"Make that pusee ____" is the new go to line and after its first use in Or Nah, I was over it. In Often, it felt forced. I just hope these throw aways are not true indicators of what will be on any actual projects.

I feel like that last section where he's just rambling and shouting out people is really turning people off to the song. I think the first half or 2/3rds are fire.
Doubt the album will be filled with content like this. Since KL, he's dropped Elastic Heart, Devil May Cry, DIL (remix), Or Nah (remix), In Vein, Often and this. Pretty diverse.
I do feel like he's gonna drop a free mixtape called KOTF to amp up the tour. The two new tracks were free DLs which he wouldn't do normally. If he was gonna drop an album before the tour, he'd atleast announce it or release a single by now right? Tour starts in BK on September 19.
