Im just gonna introduce myself to this thread, hello all i've been a fan of the weeknd for quite sime time now.. I first heard his music on tumblr, not knowing what it was. I then figured out who he was november 2011 on drake's take care. I immediately looked him up and had never heard any music like it before, it was amazing.. Mindblown, i downlaoded all of his music, i shared his music with a few close friends and from then on have been a fan. I've listened to this **** when i was sad, felling down all that and it made me feel better and theres not alot of music i can personally say that about. Its like being in another zone listening to this stuff, lol its like drugs for your ears. A few of my favorites are The Party & the Afterparty, Loft Music, Gone, Rolling Stone, High For This, The Morning, umm this is more than a few lol, but also Belong to the World, because it was relatable, and Kiss Land gets honorable mention for being so unrelatable, but still managing to make me love the song.. Its weird, but whatever. Oh, cant forget the Wanderlust Pharrell remix . So yeah, this is my introduction. I hope to share with you and discuss his music, and uh xo till i overdose?

throughout the whole vid i found it odd that there was no sign of the young gawd until his verse...and when he finally came on i said " big sean did not want this cat around her at all...to build "tension"...nah but i was feeling dissapointed that the video was put together with them filming at different times/locations....that was until the final hooks, but even then someone ( big sean)  must have been overlooking where production was gonna go with the scenes of the video

Lmaooo you're looking too deep into it man. Doubt Big Sean had anything to do w/ the production. I think it was great Weekend didn't come out until his verse because it fits the way the song is... You have no idea he is apart of the song until his verse, no " ooh yeah's" in the beginning or anything. Then when they're actually doing the "duet" part of the song they come together on screen during the video. Well done IMO.

Oh yeah & Ariana could definitely get them buns munched in this video.

My girl doesn't understand the XO life, nor do I want her to. I chose her because she was the opposite of all that.

With that being said....

The music, is definitely a negative for me personally. It's only temptation and memories of the XO life that I no longer lead.

I almost had to cut the music out as well but I couldn't bring myself to do so. Now I listen maybe 3-4 days a week compared to 7, on the days I'm not with her. On those days... the mind does begin to wander when the music hits
