Not sure if they just didn't reach out to Drake to get on that congrats video or if he just didn't want to be on it. That stood out to me that he wasn't a part of that whole 10 minute long ceremony or that Weeknd didn't shout him out

Don't think the lack of Drake mention was an accident. They probably set the beef aside to make some money together (tour/album feature) or for the public but Drake was/is mad about The Weeknd not signing with OVO after EoS. Drake put up a weak congrats on IG but knowing him, he's still 100% salty.

I'm assuming he doesn't just want to be known as only being on because of Drake. I can understand that because it undermines the effort you put in. Yeah show some love when its necessary but literally having to have my name be attached to Drake every time I make a move is tiring. And Drake did give him an assist, can't deny that but he's does seem like the type of dude who constantly needs to put out that reminder that "you are here because of me".
