I've mentioned before that I'm not a fan of it either, but Blink knows good and well that he only continuously brings it up for laughs

It's lazy and poorly done imo. The title alone lets you know that he got too comfortable with his position in music, that is to say he knew his fans would eat up anything he put out. Think back to that time. We hadn't heard anything from just him since Often and before that it was KL. He'd been dropping music so sparsely that people were in need of any fix they could get from homie. And it's cool if you all like it, but in my book, it signaled the fall off for me. You could tell he had a pain he wanted to share with the world on almost all of his previous material (TitR had pain but the song was just bad), but KotF seemed to be him saying "alright, I'm over that ****. I have money now. Let me talk about benz's and the models that like me now". I doubt this thread would have made it this far if that were the song that introduced people to him. Essentially, I just remember the "effort" I could tell was being put into the music. KotF just lacked that. I still stand by what I wrote here:

At least with LMH you can catch a good groove with a female when you're riding for a night out and the joint comes on on the radio. You play kotf and she looks at you like some sort of creeper for listening to a song where the dude literally says alla dem swallow for one minute. You don't know awkwardness until she asks you "what if she doesn't swallow. He forces them to swallow? I don't think I want to see you anymore". And then she asks you to pull over and she calls an uber. And then you hit her up for like three weeks straight with "good morning/can we talk about this/I'd really like to see you again sometime" texts. And then she screenshots that nonsense and puts you on blast on Instagram. And then the new dude she's seeing likes the pic. And then you're sick. And then the next time KotF plays you run your car off the road. And then you're even more sick when you survive the crash and find out she didn't even come to visit you at the hospital. And then you get well enough to pick up the phone and you see all of your friends hit you up with get well wishes. And then you ignore all of them and text her with the "I got into a really bad wreck. I'm okay now. But all I could think about this entire time was you and how I messed up by playing that wretched song. I just want to make things right." And then you press send. And then seven minutes later you get a response.
And the response says "who is this?"

Yeah. At this point it's just to rustle jimmies. But the slanderous material is plentiful because I actually mean it when I say the song is trash imo.

I agree with a lot of that only difference is the song does something for me musically.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody put KOTF in the same class as anything on Trilogy or KL. Except maybe Live For.
