Just got through my first listen...

*Puts on The Trilogy/KL & reminisces about what once was*
I'll obviously give the album plenty of more spins to fully digest it but yeah, this is my first reaction

I like the Dark Abel just as much as anyone else in here..

But upon my 2nd listen of the album at work I am feeling it! There is still Dark on here to pick from, just a different version.

Once I get home and listen in the Dark Alone I will get my real view of the album.
 
Just downloaded. About to listen...set my bar kinda low, since I don't really rock with ICFMF and ITN. Liked GBIT90s, but sounds like it's Aquainted is a spin off. Somebody slide me an untagged version of GBIT90s so I can decide whether to tack it onto the album. :lol:

You're correct, however I feel like Kiss Land was a true mark of his growth. BBTM IMO isn't "growth" or "evolution" in the sense that he's advancing musically. Kiss Land was the perfect example of progression. BBTM is a progression in terms of connecting to a broader audience, I'll give you that
