Am I the only one REALLY REALLY happy with the remastered Wicked Games? Do I like the OG more? Of course. But he turned one of the songs we fell in love with to a radio song and it's still great. Remember earlier in this thread we wondered when he got signed how was he gonna make it to the radio. And he did it I don't know maybe I'm thinking too deep but this is a good sign

It used to be mine too, but EoS has taken the thrown.
Montreal, Outside, and Next being the tracks that put it over the top.
House of Balloons is a very very close second tho.
As far as the remastered Wicked Games, don't like it. Albums will be bought out of appreciation, but they won't be added to iTunes.

Yeah this is super dumb. People have also said that the name was supposed to be "the weakened" not "the weekend" and that its play on words to mean both about how he is weaker on the weekends. Honestly don't care.....
But the "Remastered" version??? Uh...the CD better not be censored. It sounds dumb but the "Let me mother ******g love youuuuu" has so much emotion in it and feeling that "let me ma.....love you" doesn't. The cursing in the R&B tone just made it seem more raw to me. Like he really felt what he was saying. I will cop regardless to thank the man for hours of listening enjoyment but it better not all be censored.
Seeing him live in 2 days!!! His set better be some what lengthy...i don't even really like Florance lol

Copped the weeknd shirt in the middle. My sister got the XO shirt.
Had lawn seats to the concert last night at Merriweather. The one complaint i have (which is a big complaint) is the TURN UP HIS VOCALS. I don't know if it was just being out in the lawn and far removed from the stage but the bass was so loud i couldnt make out half of the words. But when he went acapella at times he sounded fine.
Closed the show with Outside which was nice. Played wicked games which i wanted to hear. But a lot of songs i wanted to hear didn't get played. No Dirty Diana No Montreal No crew love (which i thought he would at least do his verse since the crowd might have known that song). No Gone (fav song). The lamest part was i was singing (yelling really) all the words and not one person near me knew what the hell was going on. People were asking me "oh is he new?" "where did you hear about him" i was like leave me along let me enjoy the show.
Overall i give it a B-. I am a huge fan of his and it was worth seeing him but i would definitely want to see him in a smaller venue or get closer to the stage next time. Florance had her mic turned up perfectly and that girl can sing her *** off. She looked super beat though
. Bags under her eyes hair all a mess like she just rolled out of bed or hadn't slept in like 4 days. But she killed it. Her voice is something else.

Went to last nights show at Merriweather as well. He's definitely been working on his voice and sounds better than he did at 9:30 Club some months back. But as stated above me, he still has his vocals too low. I'm glad to see he got two backup singers so that he doesn't have to try and do every word and wear his voice down by the end.

Had tickets but sold 'em. Glad the show was cool. I hear you about his vocals though... I'd much rather hear him in an indoor venue than outdoors.
