I don't know what the guy is saying at the end of Pretty but that's some gangsta **** :smokin

English translation:

When a ******* white dove sings its song, that’s all we hear.
Days roll like string in the wind.
Tangled into my web I reveal them again.
It’s been 10 years, my friend, that nothing else matters.
She was just a kid at this time
Suffering from a broken heart, a very deep pain.
This is where I saw her, alone, ready to begin her 17 years

Verb ‘entamer’ (last sentence) also means ‘to waste’, ‘to damage’. ‘entamer’ can hardly be understood as ‘to destroy’, at best ‘to remove (a small piece)’. From the accent and the vocabulary use in the sample, it seems to come from a 90’s French movie. She was probably about to commit something stupid, maybe suicide, which fits perfectly into the painful atmosphere.

“Entamer” also means start from the first piece, like cutting the first piece on a cake. In this context, it refers that the girl turned into a woman at the age of 17 and start living the experience and mistakes of a 17-year-old-woman.

Thanks fam but I rather not know the lyrics. I won't look up Nirvana lyrics because I like the songs to say what I believe it says lol even for some Weeknd songs

Sipping on some rum buckets and at the shore with some music got me thinking...

Where's the love for The Knowing???

I know i will get flamed but Heaven or las vegas is prob my least fav song of his. Like the numbness of the audio mixed with the beat. Just not a real fan of it. Lyrically its good but just doesn't vibe with me. The notes he hits are muted with the strange audio effects on that song. Then on triology its followed up with Valerie which is one of my fav songs due to the notes and vibes.

The Knowing, Enemy & Montreal are his most underrated songs imo

Also true.

The Knowing gets buried under the weight of HOB but that song is phenomenal.

Hit my ex for the last time to that, **** was something I'll never forget.

Yea I'm not a fan of heaven or Las Vegas either.

Glad to see the love for The Knowing in here. And yes Enemy is also underrated along with Where you Belong IMO.

Man that's the thing about this mans work. So much savagery you can relate to on another lvl.

I'll never forgot when I went down to NM for a class and met a baddie down there. Spent every night together. She was telling me how she would sell her car and place to come with me. I was telling her stuff on some Nomads ish but feelings were getting caught. Plus I had something back home. Then when I got on the plane and it took off, had The Knowing going through my Beats....
Had me in my feels

There's only one song that gets skipped and that's GTG. No amount of drugs or alcohol can make me like that song.

A lot of these joints aren't underrated. Enemy, The Knowing, Montreal, dudes been posting about their personal eargasms to those songs for years.

Where You Belong on the other hand. I'd be surprised if half thread knew Abel had two songs on that 50 Shades soundtrack.

Where You Belong & As You Are probably his two most underrated for me.
